I grew up at Cedar Lake. My family raced there in the late 60’s, 70’s. It didn’t look anything like this, needless to say.

It’s even 10x crazier for the USA Nationals in August!
I've been to that track many times. Back in the 90s the track would throw a huge party with tons of food. A man named Cook owned it. I was writing a story for my publication. And he allowed me to follow him for an entire weekend. He knew how to take care of the fans. I recall seeing some of the books. For a sprint car show on a Tuesday night. He made $45K on just BEER sales.
When you start in the back it’s hard to advance you need luck an a lot of Luck
You guys did amazing regardless of where finished. You had a great run and got valuable knowledge from it. Thats always a win. Im in your shoes constantly being in races with guys that just flat outrun me but its the best way to push yourself and learn to be better and learn new setups and stuff. Don’t worry about all the negative comments. Because 95% of the people commenting are not traveling with a major series and probably not even racing on a regular weekend basis. Keep your head up and keep digging. You guys are an amazing God fearing family and we need more of that in todays world. Good luck guys y’all have this!
I think a Pit-Tour at every U.S.M.T.S. Sanctioned event even the Big U.M.P. races yall hit up (like the Dome) would be a good start to the video. Maybe give out some names and a little history about the team / driver. If I had to guess a lot of people doesn't realize how important experience behind the wheel and experience transferring your notebook to the chassis is at this level of racing! The competition Chase is racing against can be compared to World of Outlaw Sprint car or late model drivers! #FACTS

the setup looks great he was running high and running low. it's hard from the back of the pack. it's all in qualifying good.

Very beautiful facility I've been there many times but track needs work its not what it used to be that's for sure .

Before you can ever be successful on the track you have to win the battle in your own mind! Chase my friend that’s where you struggle. We know you can do this. You are a heck of a driver. Believe it. You never learn from success you learn from failure. Keep digging!

I believe you guys are there but adjust yourself out of the park. Your fast on wet tracks but you got to get better on slick. Are you writing down everything your doing as far as changes. Keep fighting.

I think you guys might be adjusting yourselves right out of these races. Car looked fast in the B-main and had nothing in the A-main. Chase buddy you have the skills to be there all you gotta do is believe in yourself. Confidence confidence confidence!
Why didnt the crew chief make the set up call for the A-main? Yall went to being one of the fast cars to the slowest. Genuinely confused after yall said you were trying that this weekend.

i don’t think the owner would go that far as to not support or help other people who run the same chassis. different factors play into these races, different drivers prefer different setups and run with different budgets
i mean you could say the same about chase, he’s capable of winning a big race.
all i’m saying is Sorenson doesn’t have to worry about buying parts, whereas CHR does. Sorenson can go out there and beat the brakes off the car and chunk up the tires because it’s not his car.
So did Chase and Miss Daisy have a good conversation? Because it looked like he was "Driving Miss Daisy"!!! I love you guy's, but that looked like total lack of effort after he spun.... Chase has just as much talent as any other driver on that track, bro your good... And when asked why you were married to the bottom, don't ever say "because everyone else was running the bottom"!!! Tough to tame northern dry slick tracks they will keep you up for months but when u find it no one will touch you
Chase needs a full time crew chief. When they get to race for a season together and learn to communicate what chase needs in the setup of the car he will be a handful for his competition wherever he goes. Dad you have to take a step back from being the setup guy and sit back and watch your son blossom.
I'm not saying it's easy but with the amount of money and hard work the entire family is putting into the entire operation I really do believe that a full time crew chief is the last piece of Chase's performance puzzle. Let's go Chase Holland!!!!!

3 nights in a row you run qualifying hot laps on the cushion.... Race on the bottom after old dad makes changes..... Spit the bit kid and drive the shit out of that thing..... You're not going to be able to live the dream looking at the ground.

Once he got lapped beings he was in last place the entire time he should of just pitted instead of putting a bunch of unnecessary laps on the engine just doesn't make sense guess he's got that much money
Wheel time on every track is priceless. How do you learn anything if you just pull off every time you’re in the back?

I know yall don't like to hear anything but Go Chase, but dude you losing every one of your races on the start and restart . In your heat, you started 7th and by the time you came off turn 2 you were last. I know you passed all of them back and finished 7th, but when a Heat Race is only 8 laps, you have to be be the hunt heading into turn 1. Gear, motor, afraid of wrinkled sheet metal, I dont know. Just the opinions of a retired racer and a concerned fan. I want to see you be successful but you are going to have to be more aggressive on the starts and occasional restarts. A good example is the pink 02. Started 23rd finished 12th. Good luck Buddy. Not hating on you, just concerned.😂

The set up looked good I think Chase needs a little confidence!
Agreed needs to put the peddle to the metal and drive that thing! He’s a hell of a racer just needs a little more confidence forsure! My eyes that was a great weekend! 11,000 would have been nice but memories are better.
There was a lot of locals at this race that made the show, but they have a thick note book. But there was also a few usmts drivers that were at cedar lake two weeks in a row before this show that were testing. The 60 car even won one of the nights. Cedar lake has good local competition in the mod class every week but it goes to show you that the guys that tour more are a bit better but Chase want far off all weekend either
