Just to think, when I was the target age for this video, if a teacher had showed us this video they could have been arrested (where I live in Britain it was illegal for anyone connected to local government to 'promote homosexuality' (a term with no definition) until 2003 when I was 10).
It just feels so good that younger generations can learn about these important life concepts from caring and responsible adults, as opposed to playground gossip.
Thank you for all you do.
Lots of Love.
Thank you for the support.
I only came out in June and I'm relatively new on social media.
@@sayakamaizono8216 It does, but its also great that our country is no longer like that.
@@edspace. Our country is still homophobic.
@@xxorxngevibesxx7142 I totally agree in so many ways, we have made progress but there is still a way to go.
Me just wanting a class of children so I can show this to them…
*Me going to be a teacher one day* Yep! I will probably have a class of children to show this too
@@ragingjojo why can't they learn it now? If you are going to say things like that matt will find your comment and delete it
@@ragingjojo geez stop being so transphoic lol
@@ragingjojo I see your point, but at a young age kids do get subjected into the Herero-normalcy of society so getting them to understand that it’s not a bad thing that they can be different from others on that spectrum will be helping them become more developed individuals-this is just my opinion! I do see your point!
Same lmao
I'm so glad you made this, it's really important to teach young kids about diversity :)
I'm glad you made this, this message will be really helpful for kids to hear
This is so great! I wish I had this while I was younger, I love the way you presented this! 🖍
I wish I was shown this when I was young
My friend is a kindergarten teacher and this is how they teach gender to her students. Love this video!
This is such a good video for education. Love is love and there is nothing wrong with that. We need more love in this world
As a straight man it’s hard to learn about the lgbtq+ community, but this channel helps me stay educated, thank you for the great videos!
I can just imagine the homophobes sharing this on facebook claiming that people are trying to force people to be gay and trans, or that they're too young to be exposed to this stuff.
Regardless I think it's really well presented.
force or misinform
this is such a powerful message ❤️ I wonder if any schools are showing this!
i hope schools do! ♥️
Not be being a bi 12 year old watching this and having memories ʕ ꈍᴥꈍʔ
Hi hello, I relate to this
@@topazprim4095 it's so cool to see someone like me!
used to be Bi and, i relate ye
I relate to this ( ̄▽ ̄)
Can relate lol
cool!
my little cousin got to watch this in class today. im gonna update this in a few months when she turns 6 to see if she gets to learn more abt this
Thanks
As a [Trans] dude who's also Gay, This video was ✨amazing✨
@@sayakamaizono8216 :D
Wow! : - )
I love this channel bc of videos like this
❤💛💚💙💜
Awesome
im studying to be a K-12 counselor, and i am definitely showing this to young lgbtq kids
Thanks
Why did you say "Eventually you will start to like someone" UHG.... There are people who have limited Sexual Attractions and Romantic attractions or none at all! I am not normally nitpicking your stuff but COME ON! Like Gay education you need to start ace education Early as well!
"You may start to like someone" would be better
geez, stop being so critical lmaooo. im aro and im not going around screaming
This is a fair point. As Mittens Zora said, 'may start to like someone' would be a better.
@@MittensZora Agreed this would have been better.
@@roofogato While I can understand the frustration being demiromantic and hearing 'the right' claim (wrongly) that we care more about inclusivity than education, this is probably one of those times where saying 'may start to like someone' is all that's needed to make the point and no less clearly.
Now I'm waiting for a homophobic artist to make a video titled "drawing with only pink and blue crayons to prove PBR wrong". The homophobic people probably don't have the brain capacity to think of that though.
transphoic* lol
and ive actually made a drawing with only pink and blue, like its a person in a gallery, and in the middle theres a painting thats just rainbow n stuff!! like idk how to describe it-
Im 7 yeers old
ye
Thank you for this. I wish we had this in my neices school. One of my children is gay and the other is trans. My neice is 5 an although she calls my children by their proper pronouns we also try showing her diversity as well. This will help thank u.
My family's reaction to me coming out as gay in a nutshell:
Mom: I'm proud of you, but don't tell anyone and stay in the closet
Dad: are you sure? Let me know if you change your mind
Aunt: down the road you could end up liking both.
Grandma: haven't you read the Bible?
Brother: YASSSS QUEEENNNNNN!
we stan your brother- stay strong queen!
i aspire to be that kind of brother
YEAHH LETSS GOOO EDUCATE THE KIDS
Thanks!
I remember my middle school science teacher was like "yeah like 10% of the world is gay, so probably around 3 of y'all are. So don't discriminate- you KNOW them."
Never thought one of the 3 would be me, lol
❤
I get Mr. Rogers vibes from this lesson. I imagine this is exactly how he would present these ideas
This was amazing, please do another one. (I was thinking more lesser known ones for older Elementary grades)
Edit: I said “lesser known” I meant things like asexual or pansexual like “lesser known” technically correctly describes it, I am just forgetting a certain word
Homophobes: They are too young to learn about being gay
Me: they are also too young to learn about being straight 🏳️🌈
Wise words wise words😌👏
You are awesome,dude! Thank you
This was really cool.
I wish u where my teacher
Some adults need to watch this too. Not just children lol
I think it's important for young kids to understand diversity, especially with topics like LGBTQ+. Although I wish I knew this topic when I was younger, I'm really glad that young kids today can learn what it is and what it means.
I'm just gonna address everyone as "peoples", lol
Me being in 6th grade
if my grade was shown this in 2nd grade maybe there wouldnt be as mich homophobia in my grade💗😍😍😍☺️☺️☺️☺️💓💓💓💓💞☺️☺️☺️☺️🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰💖💖💖💖💜💜💜💜💜💘💘💘💘💘💘💓💓💓
Do u know if a 10 year old can know if thier gay? my mom said they cant
Of course they can know at 10. I was 9 when I knew I was gay. Anyone who says you don’t know who you are or who you love at any age, doesn’t know what it’s like to be LGBTQ or has never been taught such things. So you just be you and know that you’re perfect just the way you are. And know you have friends here on our channel who will support you no matter what.
some tell me they knew they were gay at age 4. people claming they had the desire to be close "like that", at preschool ages. so yeah "they know" meanwhile some asexuals find out when they are 30
@@PoweredByRainbows when you use the word "love" you mean it "that way" right?
are paraphalias viable? and normal? is the people and myself who "fancy" fictional characters normal valid? there have been zoo animals that fall in love with objects so I am sure.
when I was a kid, one of my favorite toys was a rubber chicken, that was my babydoll. and a praying mantis in a dress.
Honestly, just watching this because I want to pretend I wasn't drowning in student debt and queerphobia
and some people identify with abandoned themeparks!
How has ur channel not blown up yet? Ur videos are amazing
nice aro ace erasure pal. how could you forget some people "don't like anyone" or did you not want to say those words? or is aroace more 13+ years old things?
Mr Rogers vibe’s!! Love this video so much!!!
I don't plan on being a teacher but I will try to show this to all the children I know and maybe when I adopt a kid if my own someday I'll show them this too
CraZArt Crayons are trash, its like trying to draw with a candle. Get Crayola next time
I wish I watched this video when I was in kindergarten-2nd grade.
Lol when you realise that your parents need to go back to kindergarten. That was such a good video matt
Gonna have to show this to the homophobes bc their so closed minded ✋🏽🙄
This kinda reminds me of Mister Roger’s neighborhood.
It’s kind of an honor for me to be compared to him. He was a truly great man so thank you for the comparison.
Great job, Professor! I love your videos. 🙂
hideto have pink herr
Oh my GOD SCHOOLS NEED THIS NOW!!
This was so satisfying
I may be in grade 7 but I have the mental state of a kindergartener
