Thank you for this video! I have saved your recipe from Pinterest and will definitely try it this weekend. I bought myself a new Belgian waffle maker Oster to use as well
I make what we always called Iron Waffle Cookies. No yeast, no milk, regular AP flour, no Belgian sugar. No refrigeroration needed. I make them all the time and everyone loves them.
@@mariadamedecoeur - I say that only because I know that these are a very old traditional Belgian treat, and the use of heavy duty in home stand mixers is a fairly recent thing in the grand scheme of things. :) (And my favorite SIL is a Belgian native, and I m pretty sure her mom didn’t use a heavy duty mixer when she was a child. ) But your comment is still very valid- melted butter would definitely change the dough texture!
Thank you so much! It took a lot of practice and experimenting but I have several cameras set up and a screen that allows me to pick different camera views
Ok I’m laughing at myself!!!! I was late tuning in last night...... so I missed that this was what you make for Christmas morning. Then I go and suggest you make a Christmas breakfast for next weeks live 🤦🏻♀️🙄🙄🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣and you handled my request so graciously. Thank you 🥰

Hi! I love this recipe but I don’t have a mixer so I’ll have to make it by hand. Can I use melted butter instead of the softened sticks?
I don't think so because it would change the dough consistency but that's just my opinion right? 😊
No, but you should be able to use VERY soft butter and be successful.
@@SparkyJoon so, I think I should retracty comment, you're seems much reassuring 😊
