To all of you who are wondering how do download this game... you can’t. Sonic Runners was a truly amazing game that was shut down by SEGA years back. As of right now I’m not sure if the revival project is working. I haven’t played it in quite a while.
Im real interested in why/how some characters are there. Metal sonic, Sonic's robotically engineered rival Mephiles, the guy who KILLED sonic The Werehog, how does he exist in daytime? And Tikal, why is she here? Soo many questions!
Dude, it's just gameplay. There doesn't need to be an explanation as to why they’re there. They’re playable for replayability and quantity. Also, you *do* know villains are allowed to be playable too...right?

Wish they’d make a better remake of this game and expand upon the good things about it. Adding characters from different sega franchises, and movie versions of Sonic +Friends. Add special stages to get more gems and rings and potential puzzle pieces to get supporters like chaos or even the death egg like before.

They added more events 3 more characters in the roster (Whisper Marine Tangle) And no more pay to win all though you need to use your red star rings to buy the amount of rings you want or in the premium wheel you need to spent 15 red star rings to spin.
