To skate properly you have to learn your edges, these are amazing exercises for developing both inside and outside edges.

this video is not bad there's all level hockey players to be taught... every player is different..
I would just like to see someone teach top hand of stick off body outside of elbow . Head on a swivel..
Always be down in your posture.. Stick on puck how to get the right angle for this..
that will explain gap control... Nobody's teaching The Game inside the lines .. Locker checking amazing how it helps teach proper body contact

having two hands on the stick often leads to them using it as a tripod. you see it all the time. one hand teaches them to rely on their edges for balance, not the stick

i feel it is important to teach these kids WHEN to have two hands on the stick. in the defensove zone when the opponent has the puck, you should have one hand but when going in and battling for the puck or skating with the puck of breaking out or crashing the net, yes you should have two hands. but where i live (im at the rink more than in my house) leaning on the stick is a more frequent occurence than the one handedness

I'm surprised the instructor let's these young guys hold the stick with one hand. When they're advanced, fine. But not yet & not with these drills.

The people that are trashing these drills are idiodic...you remind me of the kids that shoot slapshots for an hour straight at "stick n puck" but can barely skate
