Man I loved this riff back as a teen so much and was jyping the band up with icarus (periphery), admit deafeat (monuments) and all these bands which popped up in those few years between 2008 - 2012 with the killer year of 2013 releases
He does belong to a label now. If you aren't aware this band is now called Skyharbor. They have an album out which features guest vocals ( from ex-TesseracT vocalist) and guest guitar solos ( from ex-Megadeth guitarist). Worth checking out. Follow them on facebook
It is actually Experimental/ Progressive. Listen closely to all the layers running behind that 16 beat polymetric groove. You'll know what I'm talking about. There is nothing Djent about this song except for the djenty chord at 2:40.
@suavedot yea i posted this and it was the first time i ever heard of him. but im well aware of who keshav dhar is now, and not only is he a genuis musician, but hes a cool ass laid back guy too
Id have to give it to Born Of Osiris. Set a bar of sorts dont you think? I mean Veil just released Eclipse. Honestly not cuttin the mustard. And holy fuck! Sikth is totally gonna put out a new cd soon. You know they are. Activity on their shit. Pages on forums and stuff talkin. You"ll see.
Tracker Excelsior Again! (moment of truth here...) Is Earth... A. A flat plane B. A spinning globe C. Inside of a ball. Please respond and I will tally the results.
lol da Artist name is Hydrodjent..... da so cald djent factor in it... and der Genre is Experimental / Ambient/ Progressive/ Technical Metal wat an irony:-D
When you produce music on your computer you don't have to worry about tightness as much as you would when you are playing as a band. Really all he did was play the guitar. The drums are all processed through applications like EZ Drummer and then edited in DAW's parallel to the guitars that he plays to make it sound the way it does. So obviously, he will sound better on a RUclips video than a 6 piece band.
don't you rag on Slipknot. Buckethead, Slipknot and Skyharbor, all have their own place. Slipknot is not nearly as good musically, as Keshav/Skyharbor but the latter could never ever create the same vibe as the former which makes them unique

Still my favorite Skyharbor track to this day
This dude's quality, he deserves a label, everything I listen to (of his) has way more of a groove to it, than lots of other Djent bands.
Superb... I am really enjoying listening to this again, and again... and again

@mmcolony If only Periphery didnt have the gayest vocals known to man

1 person is high and missed the dislike button.
i know 60 piece bands that dont sound this good.... *cough* slipknot

@xXParanormalPunxXx It's whiny and it does not suit the music. It detracts from excellent instrumentation.
@funnystonervideos YES I agree very much. Pure pish. Weak. Crap.
good song, terrible band name.
