😢 I miss Cool Spot from 7up commercials (1987-1997) and I remember those since when I was a kid back in 1990 when I was 3 years old. And it brings me allot of memories in the past.
I have Cool Spot for SNES & Spot's Cool Adventure for Game Boy. I also have Spot: The Video Game for the NES, which is like Othello but with Spot. I think the one on Saturn is Spot Goes to Hollywood which also came out for the Genesis. I'm looking for the 7Up Christmas commercial that had that "toy money" promo where I remember a line saying "Merry Christmas is here".

It sucks how the only thing the 7Up Spot is remembered for is just the video game. Not the commercials, not that promotional Cool Spot phone, not nothing. By that logic, let's only remember Chester Cheetah for his video game and not for selling Cheetos (Just sayin'). I remember you for more than the game however, Spot. And I'mma buy you a 7Up Vodka
I liked him and his personality that he brought and gave to 7Up. It was funny yet lacked the obscenity of the "Make 7Up yours" campaign they later went with in the 90's or 2000's (I forget which) that was really unneeded and lacked class. And it's nothing like the soulless ads that every product has these days made by braindead "marketing staff" and I use that term loosely because they should all be fired.
I miss the spots.. bing them back!

I remembered this 7-Up commercial, which features “Spot” on the billiards table while watching the football game!! 9 years old, that’s how old I was!!

It sounded like Spot said "Aflac" at the end right before he jumps back onto the cup.
