1 Billion Lion arent that much. Just compare it to us humans we are over 8 billion and live on only 14.5% of the surface of earth.
Kyogre by itself and all the sea Pokémon could probably wreck the lions since they could all use surf together and boom the lions would drown
There are some Pokémon that can survive in space so if enough of them just made the earth uninhabitable then they would win
All ghost pokemon can just wait for the lions to eat each other when they starve enough and wait for the last to die just the same.
Same with some water pokemon that can live deep enough for lions to die of drowning and unable to survive pressure of such depths.
Some Flying pokemon can just perch from very high spots from time to time while eating fruits from trees while waiting for all the lions to starve.
and we ain't even talking about the lore and attacks. Entei creates volcanoes when it roars. Groudon literally makes it so hot that Lions would die from heatstroke (Males with more Testosterone have darker manes, making them more attractive, but also more succeptable to heatstroke). Steelix lives underground in high pressure environments. It literally evolved from Onix because the high pressure caused the metals inside its body to naturally go from ore to sheet steel. It tunnels by spinning the long spikes on its body, with enough force that it creates localized Sandstorms when it does it aboveground. Then we get to Gardevior and her ability to create mini Black Holes when threatened and we already know thats the holy hand grenade. All Yveltal needs to do is fly over the Lions and they have their life force drained. This is always a fun thing to debate since it always ends with how the battle is set up. Cause some pokemon would never work together and many males lions in a group would kill each other for dominance.

Michael is right. You get buttery free to fly above and use Sleep Powder all day, or any flying pokemon to just do range shots from the air all day. And yes, Steelix is HUGE, and it's SOLID steel, not just a layer of steel. It could literally just roll and tumble around and everything would die.

I actually agree with Michael on this a Lion's bit is 650 PSI which isn't even strong enough to break a Pangolin's ROCK solid plating. It doesn't matter how many lions bite Steelix unless they can all bite down in the same spot the Steelix probably won't feel any pain since its made of rock and steel. Though this also applies to any other steel Pokemon aswell so having numerous steel pokemon just guarantees Pokemon win.
Also the space time bending God like Pokémon wouldn't even need to try and all billion lame ass lions would die... its not like they are magical how tf do the lions protect themselves against magic

About a lions dmg to a Steelix:
There are 9 Different pkm that can have friendguard which reduces the taken damage of all pokemon by 25% each (it multiplies) and after multiplying their damage reduction, all damage dealt by the lions would be reduced by about 92.49%
Furthermore there are 35 pkm with the pressure ability (which reduces stamina/pp and can stack) so that the lions will get tired quicker than all pkm. So the counter argument that ghosts wouldn’t outlast the lions bc of they stamina/pp since they can’t get hit by lions doesn’t work

So... there is this pokemon called Magcargo and it's description says that it's body can emit 10000°C (basically the surface of the sun), not sure how quickly that would turn a body to ashes but I'd say it's pretty much guaranteed a win for this against the lions, they couldn't even reach it.

Like if you look at it simply like a living creature, it could easily just lay there and move around sometimes, and lions would die. It's not even like the lions could crowd it and attempt to crush it because it literally lives just fine half a mile underground, and it would just start digging, either down through the dirt or just through the lions.

on the lion debate, each pokemon would have to kill about 700,000 lions each. which very simply means none of them have enough pp to pull their weight. and since the minimum amount of damage pokemon can take is 1 hp, they will all fall eventually, even if they are giant steel snakes
