"Nothing of note" means they found nothing out of the ordinary, not that they found nothing at all. The fans were still around in the real world too.
This is a really big detail. The video implies that the real people are trapped in the tape, but the wiki pretty much says that the real people are fine and the tape just has an "alternate" version of them
It's interesting to discuss the implications of those two alternatives. If there are people missing in reality and trapped on the tape forever, only gaining consciousness when someone is playing it, that's horrible. If it'd be copies of real people, but still conscious and suffering because they're trapped, would that be any less horrible?
@@derboeseVlysher Honestly, after hearing that the wiki says the people still exist irl too, I'm convinced this video is viewing alternate timelines, confined to the stadium of that one game. The author may have stopped there, but there's no way the Foundation would stop watching this. This is too interesting! This is one of my favorite one that made me a fan of SCP.
I am an avid SCP fan for a decade and I was present for this game. And only this game in regards to basketball. When it mentioned not being real for a second I was SCAAARED
I think the most amazing thing about the foundation is their seemingly anomalous ability to just expunge things from the internet like its the easiest thing in the world. I'm on board with the alien & parallel WTFs, bring it on; and for shits and giggles, lets throw some sorcery in there for absolutely no reason and we're all good; but my line in the sand has just got to be the foundation's magic master delete button. THATS impressive! I want one.
Just before the video ended I got a weird feeling of deja vu. I felt like I seen the end of the video before from 12:45 to its end. Which is ironic considering what the video is about and the also because the narrator said "Have I seen this game before?". That is a very creepy experience. Probably just got it confused with one of his other videos.
That O-5 in the green shirt for his favourite basketball team was all i never knew I needed, that and the O-5 actually being happy. They are underrated
Ever since the first time I heard about this SCP I just thought it was so strange, I wonder why the author of this SCP decided to write the article. Very odd.
This is one of my favorite SCPs, and this video's narrative differs from SCP 1733 in one major way: In the video it's stated that the Foundation was unable to locate any members of the audience, while in SCP 1733 it is stated that: "Fans in the crowd also appear to be real human beings in all respects, and Foundation inquiries into the current status of these persons has found nothing of note. For all intents and purposes, recorded entities appear to be the actual individuals but somehow abiding in a digital medium." This text is a little ambiguous, but to me it seems to be stating that the members of the audience went on living their lives normally after the game, just like the players, ("nothing of note") and the individuals in the recording are trapped copies of them.
I like how it’s implied that the scientists watching this whole ordeal were willing to watch all the chaos and debauchery go down, but as soon as the idea of child sacrifice was brought up the scientists were all “NOPE” and stopped viewing the tape forever.
3:55 imagine that guy is using a VPN and that IP address is encrypted. I can imagine the SCP foundation kick down your door because they got the wrong IP address
I am reminded some of an episode of the original twilight zone where a group of DOLLS are trapped in a bucket and you don't find out until the final scene that they were all dolls. Granted SCP is a separate copyrighted franchise but with some adjustments (maybe a generic group of scientists or researchers but not specifically SCP) this could be adapted into an episode of the new version of Twilight Zone. Also reminded me of GROUNDHOG DAY and similar time loop stories as none of them stayed dead. Imagine getting DISEMBOWELED every day and then coming back to life and having to have it happen again.
7:34- 8:00 Hey guys, I love this SCP and I love the work you do, but I have to point out that this part is totally fabricated. I read every single tale on 1733 and nowhere does it say that the audience members are fake, missing persons, or anything less than digital counterparts of real people living normal lives in the SCP universe. Laugh Is Fun is populated with people who disappeared or died, but not Season Opener.
Look, I love hearing about the SCPs as much as the next person BUT, what we NOT gonna do is include my favorite basketball player Ray Allen into this LOL. I've been following him since he was playing at U. Conn. This is too funny LoL
Jigsaw is probably the one who make this SCP Because he's wanting people to playing a game that is far more terrifying than his trap challenge game Which is being trapped in VHS Tape video recording for eternity and then trying to escaping it just like in his many trap challenge game

"Digital video recorder" proceeds to show a VHS tape lmao
Yesssss I am finally here at one minute
it took me six minutes
Nine minutes
Good for you
The author may have stopped there, but there's no way the Foundation would stop watching this. This is too interesting! This is one of my favorite one that made me a fan of SCP.
I'm heavily addicted to this channel my G 🤝🏽
Me too my g
I am an avid SCP fan for a decade and I was present for this game. And only this game in regards to basketball. When it mentioned not being real for a second I was SCAAARED
I love the fact that they say “hollered” Because it makes it seem like a grandma is telling this story XD
I love the comments on the RUclips highlight video for this game.
A good day when am scp channel uploads
This is one of the most amazing anomalies in the entire lore.
people: wow that video was pretty weird wasn't it
scp foundation: so you've chosen death
I’m from Boston and I love this! #scp #GOCELITCS!
Love how they stopped experimenting one the faithkeepers tried to kiII the kids. Cold not cruel.
Probably just got it confused with one of his other videos.
dude i got the feeling too
and sometimes when i play tc3 on roblox (a stratigy game) i would get this feeling that i have done this before atleast once or twice
Yeah.
Probably.
That O-5 in the green shirt for his favourite basketball team was all i never knew I needed, that and the O-5 actually being happy. They are underrated
Your animations are so good love it
Being the last is much harder than being the first.
Ever since the first time I heard about this SCP I just thought it was so strange, I wonder why the author of this SCP decided to write the article. Very odd.
The only villains here are the SCP researchers who keep replaying the tape.
This is one of my favorite SCPs, and this video's narrative differs from SCP 1733 in one major way: In the video it's stated that the Foundation was unable to locate any members of the audience, while in SCP 1733 it is stated that:
"Fans in the crowd also appear to be real human beings in all respects, and Foundation inquiries into the current status of these persons has found nothing of note. For all intents and purposes, recorded entities appear to be the actual individuals but somehow abiding in a digital medium."
This text is a little ambiguous, but to me it seems to be stating that the members of the audience went on living their lives normally after the game, just like the players, ("nothing of note") and the individuals in the recording are trapped copies of them.
this is one of my favorite SCP’s because it’s really creepy and disturbing
One of my biggest fear, an Endless cycle of repeatment, I really would rather die than being there.
Literally
I like how it’s implied that the scientists watching this whole ordeal were willing to watch all the chaos and debauchery go down, but as soon as the idea of child sacrifice was brought up the scientists were all “NOPE” and stopped viewing the tape forever.
Jigsaw:I want to play a game
I don't want to
No
Jigsaw:How about we played a game where we're trapped in VHS Tape video recording and then trying to escaping it
Great video. SCP-1733 is really disturbing
3:55 imagine that guy is using a VPN and that IP address is encrypted. I can imagine the SCP foundation kick down your door because they got the wrong IP address
lol i think the foundation can pass VPN.
"The arena around you was electric, fans hollering from their seats"
The spectators: 🧍♂
Imagine going out to see a game and that’s all you end up doing for the rest of your life- can they die there? Age? That’s so sad.
I hate sports games to begin with but to be trap in one forever that sounds like hell to me
Its cool and scary that scp's can sometimes just manifest, with or without warning. They can just happen.
I love this types of videos
Imagine you are stuck in among us and are getting trolled by randoms
that would be torture or smth
And you find yourself as imposter.
Self-aware NPC's trapped in a continuous loop, respawning endlessly? Only difference is we live in a 93 billion light year wide 📼 cassette tape.
The real anomaly here: some dude recording on VHS in 2010
VHS still exists, maybe he didn't have a phone or something idk
Look, I love hearing about the SCPs as much as the next person BUT, what we NOT gonna do is include my favorite basketball player Ray Allen into this LOL. I've been following him since he was playing at U. Conn. This is too funny LoL
Jigsaw is probably the one who make this SCP
Because he's wanting people to playing a game that is far more terrifying than his trap challenge game
Which is being trapped in VHS Tape video recording for eternity and then trying to escaping it just like in his many trap challenge game
This takes the "Hey, I've seen this one before." To a new level.
