you all probably dont give a shit but does someone know of a way to get back into an Instagram account? I somehow lost my password. I would love any help you can offer me!
@Clayton Manuel Thanks for your reply. I found the site on google and I'm in the hacking process atm. Takes quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Wow this is the most concise, informative, and well explained video for spacers that I've seen yet, and I've been doing a ton of research....great video for guys really trying to get the custom look with new rims right!
Very good video. Slow & well explained 👍. I know there are offset calculators, but would love to see a spacer & bolt length calculator added into that.
Lube the lug nuts/bolts and wheel mounting surfaces? Wouldn't that change the available friction for the wheel? The nuts/bolts hold the wheel onto the surfaces, and it's the friction between those surfaces that provide the force to keep the car suspended and to turn the wheel.
OK, hopefully I don't get too beat up for asking this, but I guess knowledge is power. I was wondering if I can knock out wheel studs, tap threads into the holes, and use wheel bolts like VW. I am asking because I want to put custom wheels on my car, but it is hard to find them used with my lug pattern (5x108). Also space is limited so I would need to use a thin adapter to change my pattern to 5x114.3.
Hello Mike, I have the D3 Audi S8 featured first in the video. Would make a nice difference in conjunction with my 275/35/20 plus 0 tire setup. Can you tell me what application sizes you used for the front and rear please? I was thinking 8mm f & 15mm r, but would like to confirm. TIA,
Nice video. But after watching I am still unsure of what to get for my car. I have a 2006 BMW 325i Sedan & I just bought 20 inch wheels (20x8.5"/5x120mm, +35mm offset) backspace 6.1 inches. I was told I might need spacers because I dont have OEM brakes & the aftermarket brakes might rub on the wheels. I was looking at 12mm front 15mm rear spacers but after viewing this I might need something thinner? I really need help, I just want a proper fit with no rubbing. Thanks in advance.
I have a Porsche Carrera 4 1999 , which I want to install a 19" Rims on my car, I saw a wheels chart that say the maximum offset is 50 and 54 without spacers, but the Rims that I wants say 50 and 55 , my question is do I can install 55 offset on my car? Thanks!
Hey ECSTuningMedia, I have a BMW 335i coupe and currently have 245 in the front and 275 in the back I was wondering what size spacers would be good with the tire rating at that width. No other mods done to the car. Also i barely have ppl in the back seats
Hello ecs tuning, I love all your videos, and has helped me a lot, but I have a question I have a golf 6 gti and I want to lower the car in just swapping the springs, but I'm afraid to go brush in the car with the rims I have, I have 2 pairs of wheels for summer and for winter, measures are 225/35r19 8.5 ET42; others are 225/40r18 8.0 ET35. will be possible to lower the car with these rims? Thank you!!
Great video! I have a 2013 GTI with stock 18" Laguna Wheels. I have just installed H&R Sport Springs. Suggestion for spacers? GTI Flush Kit ? Thank you!
How does the mk7 flush kit with a wider rear spacer affect handling? I would imagine it increases understeer? I want to get these, but I love the GTI's lift-off oversteer.
Hey, i have a question regarding rim fitting. How would I go about putting rims from another car on my new vehicle. I had 20 inch rims on my old Benz. Recently bought a 2013 Altima. Wondering would I need a wheel spacer or wheel adapter in order to successfully put these on my car. Is it even possible to put them on my new car?
I have a kia optima 2014. i want to add a 20 mm spacer on the four wheels. will it fits well.or should i usea 15mm. your help will be highly appreciated.
Also, when you drop you car to the floor, your suspension geometry and performance get totally screwed unless you correct in accordance with the "modifications". Some designs are easily adjusted while others demand some serious maths and fabrication to compensate for the changes. Many "tuning" shops don't take the time to educate customers on this aspect when selling coilovers and wheels and gladly take the cash with a big smile knowing the performance is actually worse off. Keep that in mind people and research these things before throwing your savings away on useless shit.
depends on the CB of the spacer. Most spacers are hubcentric to the OEM specs. As long as your hub rings adapt your stock CB to your wheel's CB, yes. If your wheels share a CB with your OEM wheels, you will not need hubcentric rings.
Hi, maybe u can help me out. 2015 civic stock tires 195/65/15. I'm planning to put 15x8 rims with offset +6 using same stock tires 195/65/15. I know the rims will poke out of the fender. I won't do any mods on the suspension as of now. Will the tires hit the fender??? NOTE: Stock tires and stock suspension with wider wheel 15x8 with +6 offset. Thanks
Thank you very much for a giving this information. i think i need a 66.5mm center bore spacer for a front axle, for rear axle 66mm. can this completely stop my vibration problem ?
i have a '99 bmw 323i sports package, no modifications done, just want it stock. I would like to put a 19 inch staggered rims. 19x8.5 - 225/35R19, 19x9.5 - 265/30R19. is this possible on the rear it won't hit the fender? Or just be better of with the 18s. need help.
Okay I need help I'm getting lowering springs for my 08 gti and it will go down 2 inches I have aftermarket 17 inch wheels and my tires are 235x45x17 what wheel spacers would look good some say 10mm but what's your input front and back?

@ECCTunningMedia hey I have an 05 acura tl stock height. I need help in choosing spacers for the better look I do have rims 19x8.5 front 19x9.5 rear with 235 Tires in front and 255 rear I want a quality spacer but can also work when I mount my stock 17" wheels
Hello..i have 20mm hubcentric spacers with 22's rims on my 2011 honda coupe and when I am going 40 to 60 miles per hour..my steering wheel shimmy comes and goes. Please advice on what is causeing that and what to do to fix that problem thank you.
I have the same problem with new Niche wheels on my Sonata's 67.1mm bore and the new rims 72.6mm bore...you need a hubcentric ring that will fill the gap between the larger wheel bore and OEM hub bore to that the wheels are not mounted crooked on the lugs, but centrally on the cars hub
Couldn't find anyone with the same setup, but i got a mk6 gti running H&R SS, how wide can i go with the stock detroits up front without rubbing? I've been seeing that 10F and 15R is a good combo for flush look. Could fellow gti owners give their input.
For the front, if your turning a corner then the wheel is going to come out from under the fender, and possibly the two come in contact. how do you calculate how low you can go to avoid this?
George Kershaw with your wheel on the car and no spacer, turn the wheel all the way out to either side and measure distance from the edge of the fender well to the edge of the amount of the tire that protrudes out. You measure this from the top of the tire and then factor that into measurement for the spacer you need. It'll tell you how much extra the wheel will poke out during a turn and you can use that to make sure you can clear the fender well when turning sharp
Gabriel Rivero Anytime you change the geometry of the car's suspension it will always be negative for the car. In this case moving the wheels outwards more, putting more stress on where the wheel used to be. This will shorten the lifespan of the bearings. The bearings are meant to take vertical load, moving the wheel away will create a horizontal or in this case a side load to the bearings.
I have i bmw 330i e90 2006 and i want to install spacer i want to use 5mm to the front and 10mm to the rear do you think the look good that way? Or give me your opinion
Hey i just want to ask something, i have a g35 2004 coupe where i've installed 20" rims on it with 245 35 front and 285 35 rear wheels , i added to that wheel spacers of 2cm on both but i have a lot of rubbin in the rear side and vibration in the front my spacers comes without hub centric , i want you to help defining how much size of wheel spacers do i have to install on both (front and rear) to clear vibration and rubbing and thank u so much.Note: i want to lower it to better look but not too much because i still have installed the oem suspensions.
Karim Kazzi You should post this in an Infiniti forum. Did you roll your fenders? You should get hubcentric AND wheel centric spacers (where the hole of the spacer fits the car's hub and the lip on the spacer fits the hole in your wheel). You could also try running tires that aren't as wide.
Hello its a very nice information video i have problem with my w211 e320 i changed wheels and used 20 mm spacers for a install my original AMG wheels but before the installation they don't make any clean and don't use anti seize and they make montage spacers with on the rim i have vibration on my steering wheel and its very annoying can you help me please what is the wrong with installation ? what can i do for a cute that annoying vibration? thank you

heck no you don't want to tap wheel stud holes. The threads will not be nearly as strong.
