He doesn't need to see it. That bag is strung tight enough where he doesn't even have to look at it. The double end & speed bags can be hit blind folded by anyone that knows what they are doing on those bags.
This is just for rhythm
tight bag is easy to work with ....loosen it up a bit and see if he can do that....no way ..especially with the little hooks

It is far better to use it tighter ...then loose ...you want to practice fluidly and combos you don’t wanna cut rhythm and have a wild double end bag
much harder to do with tighter bag, in my experience, he is really good with timing
I prefer the bags tighter you can really bang it hard where as when its loose you have to take all the power out of your shots.
predicting the path where the fast bag will be slightly easier but the speed of the bag is much faster; thus, your reaction time has to increase, making it hard to control timing and rhythm. the harder you hit, ever faster your reaction has to be. i had lots of trouble hitting the ball after a hard punch
