He was the reason I fell in love with Tennis
So do i

Me too
Andre will forever be a legend!

My all time favorite.
Agassi's wins over Sampras are still some of the most intense tennis battles I've ever seen.
No doubt!! Pete’s Service game made it so hard to beat him. It always took Andre’s A game to win. I get nervous still watching those old matches.
Nobody had the court presence of Andre. Amazing player, even better human being.
my favourite tennis player.. a game like no others 🧡❤️
Always standing near the baseline.. taking the ball so early.. Returns from heaven.. cleanest ball striker with that beautiful backhand..
Ups and downs by ever being so talented..
Formed into a master by Brad Gilbert.
Thank You for letting me be a part of it!
The coolest guy to ever play the game
Agassi is one of the GOATS for sure and his behaviour OFF the court with his school and foundation is even more impressive! Good on ya Mate! Andre was the one who got ME and i'm sure millions more into tennis the the late 80s early 90s! ANDRE FOREVER!!!
Agassi used to play the kind of passing shots we take for granted now, but he did it before synthetic strings like Luxilon made it so much easier to impart topspin to the ball. He could hit the ball earlier than almost every other player on tour, on the rise, and with power and accuracy. When he first arrived on the tour, I had never seen anything like his shotmaking ability. Still my favourite player of all time.
The reason i have grown interest on tennis. As a 90’s child, he’s my tennis legend.
Andre Agassi is the great tennis player thats why i love to watch tennis
Simply one of the best and one of the most exciting to watch. What got me into tennis in the 90's..
Winning Wimbledon 1992 from the baseline when everybody was still bombing aces left and right and everybody in the world believed you must be a serve & volley master to win on gras in the 1990s is still one of the greatest achievements in tennis history.
Exactly, he won on the super fast (and irregular) grass!! But it's quite normal, Andre was an alien...
Andre - The Legend ...he was the reason behind i started watching tennis
One of the most stylish tennis player ever! Wat a grace🎾👌👌
He had one of the most beautiful and exciting game ever! By far the most charismatic player of all time! Forever his fan!
Andre is the gateway to the GOATs.
Go look at tennis mechanics before and after him.
He invented the language of modern tennis. People talk about Nadal’s forehand, Djokovic’s backhand, Murray’s lob.
These three made these shots their own, but they were all originally dreamed up by Agassi.
I used to rock that 90's Agassi tennis outfit back when I used to play. Seeing this makes me want to play the game again.
His personality in the tennis world one of the greatest, if not the greatest ever🎾
The one and only. The real GOAT
Love The Hot Lava look, so 90s. My favourite tennis player.
Agassi is a great tennis player and a great human being! True legend.
I met him years ago in Boston before he became famous. You could tell he was special because when I first saw him he glowed liked jesus.
My favourite of all time! Thanks!
A nominee way back at our first awards in 2000. Legend! 🙌🎾
I loved everything about Andre! A true tennis legend....
Wow, that Boris Becker fun fact is crazy! :P
Never heard that before this!
@@daleproctor3723 It's in Agassi's autobiography - "Open"
Did Becker even realize he did this? That was my era, I never, ever knew this. Then again, I've never read Agassi's book.
@@Dom-yv4nq Agassi couldn't tell anyone about it. Only after many years, he told Becker. Check out the story from Andre's perspective: ruclips.net/video/57BMzCM6hQI/видео.html
@@karczewskii That's amazing! Thank you for that.
I’ll always remember the way he used to walk on the court between the points 😂
LOL Me too. It never looked like the walk of a great athletic champion to me.
@@daleproctor3723 it's because it was/is a process.
U can see that his matches before doing that prbably when he had long hairs he was so emotional or aggressive u say.
But then he decided to change it .
If camera locked on him and there is no score board on our screen we can't understand that he get that point or lost it by his face reaction and body launguage .
When he win or lose that point he used to looked down and walked on base line. He didn't wanted himself to get disturb by looking anyone then he gets his stance, do a little pinch squat then watched his opponents over the net.
He used to do that around 200 times in a single match .
That fine thing teaches us lot things .
After all tennis is not a teamsport u don't have anyone to talk to u on field, so players used to take services from psyachattic ( I spelled that wrong😅). So they come up with this kind of strange things . It good that we kind of people noticed .👍
@@hiteshsatardekar4636 These comments are about the appearance of his gait, not what he was concentrating on in between points.
🤣🤣🤣So I'm not the only one. That fast walk with short steps.
My mother used to say it looked like he shi**ed his pants 😂
What a career Agassi had! To come back from a drug related drop in rankings to about 200 in the world, to fight his own demons and become a better person and player than ever is an outstanding story. From 1998 on Agassi played every single match with an intensity as if it was the last of his career. I could name a few pros out there which should take Agassi as an example.
And with the back issue and walk play with that for years.
There was another motivator for him. As a child star he hated Tennis. His father was the guy who pushed him to make his career in Tennis. After the drop in ranks and problems partly caused by his catharitic relationship with his father. Hatred for what tennis costed him in personal life he wanted to walk away. He got his mojo when he connected with the really unfortunate children and saw that he has a better cause to be in Tennis for. He realized the potential of what Tennis really gave him, and came back with a new mission into the game. The rest is history...
Agassi is a better returner than Djokovic, he played in a fast paced era, he won Wimbledon when it was fast and was dominated by serve and volleyers.
Tf are you talking
Djokovic may have a better percentage, but Agassi hit countless spectacular return winners from any angle on the court. And courts were really fast back then...
@@cybercipher5770 talking the truth
@@cybercipher5770 sit down and learn something, son.
@@Vipa567 no bro just no
What he achieved is unmatchable, the Big 3 can't hold a candle to him for that matter.
Winning Wimbledon from the baseline and making it to another final as well (THAT Wimbledon, not the green clay of today), and winning all 4 Grand Slams as well in his time, makes him one of the greatest ever.
He and Borg winning RG-Wimbledon back-to-back three times (6 and 5 respectively in total), are on top of everyone.
👊
What do you mean by the green clay of today? Wimbledon is still all grass court isn’t it? Was it slower back then for some reason?
I NEVER REALIZED HOW CRAZY HE IS UNTIL I READ HIS BOOK "OPEN".. ICRIED WATCHING THIS VIDEO.
In the Open Era, Agassi is the only men’s singles player to have won a career Super Slam: all 4 Grand Slams, Olympic gold medal in singles and the year-end championship.
LEGEND
AGASS1 & MAR1NO were my childhood HEROES!!!
Agassi.... what a legend
I've never really watched tennis, but I didn't know until now how crazy some of these "trick shots" can be. Agassi is amazing!
What a Legend Agassi!
The point against Nadal 💥💥💥
Grandissimo Agassi 👏
Grande Andre... Una leyenda.
He went from being a talented but shallow player to a very tough hard working Champion. Well done Andrae !
i never disliked pete sampras but my all time fav player is andre agassi...i still use head band like him in gym 😁
It took a long time for me to warm up to Agassi. Today he is one of the best to ever do it.
Even agassi for long time was pushed out if course by image etc. But then found way, then again had issue and the agaun found way, even with back issues.
As a Vegas man myself and tennis Hacker, i would get up early, i would stay up late to watch Agassi. And just recently i have forgiven Sampras. it took years and therapy, but Pete was a bad man. But Andre is the man.
My idol best returns ever❤❤❤❤❤❤
Grew up in the 90s watching in awe Agassi play, and then trying to replicate him on the courts.. I wasn't very good though! But great memories all the same, thanks for inspiring me Andre 💚
Best backhand I have ever seen still to this day. No wrist flexion. No one hits it like that these days. They all flex the wrist.
that’s because his backhand is right hand dominant.
And no knee flexion
Just a little @@RAUL7487
Agassi was too cool 😎
Sampras may have won more but Agassi always had my heart.
Merci pour cette sélection d'images, c'était un grand plaisir
Dude tried as hard as he could and gave us fans awesome tennis to watch and cherish, all while not really liking the sport at all. That’s not easy.
Liking even without watching. I know it's gonna b amazing
He didn't play tennis... He poured his soul out on the court.
Some great work! Great background score . . Keep it up!
Andre is GOAT...BIG RESPECT
Legend
The fact that he won all 4 grand slams & a gold medal makes him a goat in my eyes hands down, & him winning grand slams in his thirties is just a cherry on top proving he had mad skills & wasn't just relying on sheer athleticism. Ppl who don't think Agassi is one of the GREATS doesn't know much about tennis, or are simply just being 🤡🤡🤡🤡's!! Lol
Amen. And he won it when the surfaces were actually all different and not similarly playing slow surfaces of today that does not have much distinction. That's why I don't respect the big 3 as much despite their 20 slams
GOAT? Wait are u stupid or what xd
You are so right!Miss watching him.🥎❤️
My favourite of all time
Andre❤️
Agassi had a great return. And I love how he plays the game with that head stick. I hope you do Yannick Noah on May 18
Love the jorts 🤟🤟 song in the opening though would be epic
Best ever.
Best groundstrokes EVER. I don't care if Federer has won more slams. NO ONE rips the ball like Agassi.
Safin and Delpo comes second in term of groundstrokes.
yes he has the sweetest and cleanest forehand and backhand. i never saw him shank a ball.
*Career* *Super* *Slam* champion and legend. The only one, so far.
Love how quiet he is
His 80s mullet was so iconic
book to read absolutely from Andre Agassi: Open. Starts with: I hate tennis. And Steffi answers: yes Darling, everybody hates tennis
He is the only player to truly win everything, nole and fed have the slams and the atp finals but are lacking the Olympic gold, nadal has the gold but is lacking the finals
I would watch Wimbledon tennis from Hyderabad,India🇮🇳🥰😍🤣
Djokovic hits a few good returns (many of them pure luck, you can tell from his reaction) and everyone already forgotten how many Agassi hit..... CONSISTENTLY EVERY MATCH. Oh please.... Agassi BY FAAAAR the best returner of all time.
What song is this in the background?
Agassi sacrificed hair for power.
Song is Midnight Hour by Alex Arcoleo & Josh Oliver
I play tennis because Agassi did it
The best ever. I watched tennis only for him, i never liked tennis
I still say Andre was a better returner than Djokovic! He saw the ball a fraction earlier.
Next legend in the series should be Wilander or Connors
Agreed
Plus Rod Laver.
❤
🎂Andre Agassi 04-29-2022 🎾
what is the name of the first music
could the music be LOUDER , I can still hear the ball
👍👍👍👍👍
Andrea Grassi is one of the best!
What are the songs they used in this video?
Русские есть ставьте ЛАЙК, если любите теннис) заранее спасибо
which song is this in the background??
What is the sond used in this video?
what about the doping issue ?
Song please ?
What is this song?
How did he fall outside top100?
When you guys gonna do PETE?
I cant wait for Federer video
I don't think they would release one while he's still active.
Hopefully Sampras in August!
@@rohan4872 that would be fun for sure
I feel like Andre was the better returner than Novak. Novak relies a lot on his felxibility to make balls where Andre imo was more of a gamer and hit bigger and much much earlier. Novak more safer which is why is return game % is so high. Less risk.
much as I admire his skills as a player, his admission on using cocaine and other substances have called into questions his past victories. For me, this disqualifies him in my books as being a legend status.
cocaine isnt a preformane enhancing drug, it makes your physical wellbeing worse actually.
I am pretty sure it is why he became like 200 in the world. lol.
😊, so you believe cocaine helped his skills as a player, then you are a first 😉. It's okay to admit if you don't like him, but just don't use any old reason
On jest prawie jak wojciechol
Another iranian genius
The dreadful music makes the video almost unwatchable.
