From 97 until now Canibus (and Nas) have laid down the foundation of my love for hip hop and consistently built upon it, Canibus is such a student of his era and hip hop and even though he hasn't done tracks with Cheeks he has consistently given Lost Boyz love and respect without fail since then with references on many tracks and albums and this right here is just wow, he shouted out that whole Group Home movement over one of the most recognizable Lost Boyz beats, Renee. I hope someone gets that clip to Co Cheeks and Charles Suite so they can hear their protégé showing them love and still rocking hard 17 years later. I hope and pray that's just a short sample of a larger song and if it is please Rap God's and whoever is is charge of this or these projects allow Cheeks and A+ to get on it and guest appear or get on a remix, same beat, don't change anything. Almost like a Boyz To Men part II but this beat, the Renee beat. I swear if I had money I would make all these dream collabs happen... And please please please have them put Freaky Tahs voice in the background ad-libbing the crew like he used to. That would absolutely make my year, my decade even. Canibus and Lost Boyz, man what if? Ryu2012SF that album definitely had subject matter, it might not had been something you were interested in hearing, but the entire album had a conspiracy theory vibe, with alot of hidden messages mixed in with the Alex Jones sound bytes. while as a whole that album may not compare to others, it still displayed his skills and shows how he likes to remain knowledgeable on the bullshit going on in the world. Everyone of his albums has something to offer the hardcore fans but people will have thier favorites of course.
