I have been going to the group trips for 6 years now and the first time I visited Fanimation was 9 years ago (10 in a few months) also I love the song in this video
I'm drooling over that old Midwest Fan-Lite he shows when explaining the copied Air Shadow. Just barely missed buying one a few years ago for $125, and still kicking myself.
Never mind. Got lucky and found an early 80s replica of one of those. Mr. Frampton's Fan-Lite is the most common model, but it has a rare finish (most were brass) and an amazing personal history attached to it.
Cool! And I love that fact that some that were in good condition were merely cleaned up and left un-restored. I was surprised that it wasn't stated that those hot air fans employed Stirling engines. Nice story and nice video though!
Thanks for the reply, to my previous question ,I have few more questions, I purchased a moderne style Casablanca fan model no.2987C ,this fan has been discontinued do you think this fan will come out of discontinuance? If yes, when? if not why? It is well made an effecient, as well as a piece of art, I would buy a few more if it did, as well others, if it did, I believe they would be in demand ,I appreciate your answer.
Fans used to look so cool and facinating because us americans know style. When china became in charge you can tell the difference in quality and style. They are so dull and

Did Fanimation buy out Casablanca fan company?
Hi Bonnie, Fanimation didn't buy the Casablanca Fan Company. Hunter Fan Company owns Casablanca.

I have an antique hand held fan from the 1964-65 New York World's Fair and I also have an autographed hand fan for the Rio Olympics.
What fans were in the lobby when the building was built?
WARNING you have to take Dramamine before watching.
I've got to go see this Museum someday. I love ceiling fans, especially Fanimations and collect them.
@1997taurusGL Glad you like the video! The background music is "Crazy Horse" by Marco Brignoli.
I keep saying this alot. But I would love to make a trip to check out all the fans at the Museum someday!
Very nice! I have got to go to this museum someday, I would love to see something pre 1900's in person. Great job!
