Absolutely amazing Ian I am delighted for your flow is really strong. I hope you make a shit ton of Honey money LOL keep up the great work great video.
Look at that flow!!! Yep, that is a flow. I'm glad you are getting a good harvest. Take care Ian. Got some cool weather coming next week. Will that slow your flow up a bit?
In southern Ontario, ive not been able to take any honey as yet, im still waiting for the girls to finish capping over the frames. That is one big operation!
Your youngest might be your smartest shes back at the honey house keeping her head down thru the heat . Just skimmed two frames of brood thru my production units. Good timing found 10% getting ready to swarm few already did . Honey production really picked up after I did it. Not sure if that's the reason or those chilly nights were slowing the flow its on now
Feeling it in NJ too! 90 °+ F. Although our main flow is over, I'm making queens, nucs and other manipulations and hating the sweat!! I do inside work with ac on most of the day!
I liked the music. Sunday and a glass of meat with a shot of lemonade. So i realist, it means lemonade because of the lemon. Haha. Keep cool and BeSt greetings.
Quick question: when the flow is this heavy is it possible to have a second entrance for the bees to come and go out of the nook or is that not an acceptable be keeping practice? You have some serious flow going on there it’s pretty amazing and I’ve been watching it for many years and I finally have a question for you LOL. ❤❤❤❤
Ive wedged cedar shingle strips above the excluder to give them an entrance that doesnt require them crawling thru the excluder. I also use a 3/8 × 2wide by 1.5 in into the hive on top to help cool the hive in the heat .the hot air and moisture pours out the top entrance 👌
Only a beekeeper knows how nice a yard with shade is 😂.

Yes it will, shorter days with the cooler evenings but I take what I get lol
Good to see you doing good ,with your bees this year Ian.
It never gets old watching them rush into the hive after you move the truck.
never know that beekeeping could be a multi million dollar operation but you prove me wrong 😊 🤑
Ha ha, thats the way of life, not for become rich
At 75 per box x6 per hive and 300 worth of bees a thousand hives is almost a million 😳
Life juice…and chips! Sounds like one of my kids.

How many barrels of honey do you usually get?
Ian, what brand of suits do you have for your workers. Looking to replace mine that has not held up to the test of time.
What if you planted a field of knotweed for after ? Just a crazy thought

The reason that I use only one entrance is because I use escapes and I want to train the bees to cycle down
Don’t hold back! Ask away! Lol
Awesome!
