Are there any 5 star weapons that would be a better fit for xinqui? I have Aquila Favonia and Jade Cutter leveled already and have been using sac sword on him. Having built lions roar yet but I've been interested in increasing the rain sword damage
Hello, Syriene, Thanks for commenting! Xingqiu relies heavily on energy recharge to get his burst back, so if you do not have Raiden Shogun, I would highly recommend sticking with sacrificial sword, the elemental skill double cast allows Xingqiu to battery himself, increasing the rain sword damage is not worth it if you can not consistently get his burst back right off cooldown. But if you do have Raiden Shogun, then your option of weapon choices opens wide up, if you have a high refinement version (R3 or above) of Lion's Roar like me, it will do more damage then a R1 Jade Cutter due to its passive multiplicative damage increase against electro infused enemies. As for Aquila Favonia, it's significantly worse than the previous two weapons, Xingqiu does not benefit what so ever from physical damage bonus nor does the passive help you much since he primarily stays off field and won't be consistently taking damage from the opponents. Hope this helps!
@@patrickliu2001 yes I have the shogun. I figured Aquila wasn't gonna be much help aside from the large chunk of attack bonus. Was more or less interested to see how had cutter stacked against lions roar. Thanks for the reply was very helpful
I have already maxed sacrificiel with hod + nobless raito 50:150, er 161 em 48 Currently useing glad+nobless , 49/144, er 200 and em 133 Which u think is better and Should I keep this build or farm Emblem 🤔(I can't upgrade any more wepaon so sacrificiel is permanent 🌚) Thanks for the vid it helped me a lot 👍
Hi, Aman, The difference between nobless + hod/glad is actually really small, since the hod set give you better crit ratio, I would definitely choose that one. As you have said, sacrificial is permanent for you, having 160 ER + elemental double proc is more than enough to get Xingqiu's burst off cooldown, so having 200 really isn't necessary, kinda overkill in my opinion. Elemental mastery on Xingqiu is not exactly a good stats since beside his E vaporize one shot build, it doesn't contribute to his rain sword damage, this is because the one triggering the reaction will always be the reverse element - pyro, and this is why people always say how good EM is on Xiangling, Hutao or Diluc. Emblem is definitely a huge step up from nobless + hod/glad, as long as you have more than 140 ER, it will automatically outscale it: nobless + hod: 20% burst damage + 15% hydro damage = 35% damage bonus for rainswords Emblem: 140% ER * 0.25 = 35% damage bonus for rainswords Since Xingqiu always have more than 140% ER, Emblem will thus perform better, one more thing to mention is that this set will convert sacrifical sword's 61.3% ER into elemental burst damage: 61.3% * 0.25 = 15.3% damage bonus for rainswords However, it is not a priority in my opinion, especially your current set has very good substats, focus on what ever you are trying to build rn and come back later for him if you need to . Best of luck!
I want some advice. Can u answer if u can, pls? I have build him for so long. But his damage is very low. I only hit 2900 per rainsword. He is lvl 80 and max sec sword. Using 2 HoD. 2 gld. Ratio is 53/140. I'm still c2 so burst lvl js only 8. My fri hit 6k with same ratio and atk like me. I'm so cofused. He is c3 btw (burst talent 11).
Hi, Crystal, If possible, could you give me the exact stats for your Xingqiu, that would give me a much better idea on why this is happening. The only thing I need is Xingiu's total ATK without pyro resonance (Base ATK + addition ATK, you can find this format in the character details) , his ER and hydro damage bonus, thanks!
@@patrickliu2001 Thanks u bro. Here's his stats without pyro resonance. ATK 1635 EM 75 Crit ratio 53/139 2 gladiator and 2 HOD he is using Hydro goblet. Sec sword R1 maxed. Talent LVL 8. I test it out just now and his Rainsword raw damage is 3035 only. Tbh, I use him with hutao and double Cryo team so i never used him with pyro resonance.
@@crystal4595 Thanks for testing it out! This really helped me to make sure my calculation is correct, based on the stats you provided, the math does indeed check out when the test target is a lvl 90 enemy with 10% hydro resistance. The number I got is 3015 per rainsword which is pretty much the same as your testing result. Below are my suggestions on how you could increase Xingqiu's damage, ranked from easiest to achieve/do to hardest: 1. Ascend him and upgrade him all the way to 90/90, plus upgrading his burst from lvl 8 -> lvl 10. Base attack to Xingqiu is extremely important, Rainswords does not snapshot and will not keep any on field buffs, this means you can't use bennett to compensate for his lack of attack, increasing base attack means Xingqiu's ascension passive (24% atk) and all your artifacts that has Attack% on them will get more bang for their buck. Upgrading skill lvl gives you better multipliers which is a guaranteed way to increase his damage. According to my calculation, this should push your damage to 3673 per rainsword 2. Since you are using Sacrificial sword, I would highly recommend a 4 piece emblem of severed fate artifact set, this is because Sac sword gives energy recharge as secondary stats which is automatically converted to elemental burst damage: 61.3% * 0.25 = 15.3% damage bonus for rainswords Assuming you were able to get a full set of EoSF with the same crit ratio, this should push your damage to 3993 per rainsword I did the calculation assuming you were not able get any addition ER from your artifact substats (61.3%ER from sac sword + 20%ER from EoSF 2 piece bonus = 181.3% total ER) This totals out to be: 181.3% total ER * 0.25 = 45.3% elemental burst damage which you can see is a pretty sizable increase from 2 HoD + 2 Glad which only gives around 30% elemental burst bonus for your rainswords. And this is assuming you did not get any energy recharge substats from your artifact, if you did, the difference will be even greater. 3. Constellation 3 will give your rainswords + 3 lvl, I put this one here because wishing is random and unreliable, but don't you worry, if you have enough star glitter, Xingqiu is coming next month to the shop and you can pick him up, only 19 days of waiting. Obtaining his third constellation will push your damage all the way up to 4762 per Rainswords. Something worth mentioning is that Xingqiu's C2 makes that enemy hit by the rainsword will have their hydro RES shredded by 15%, so record the number after you've hit them a few time will give you the most accurate testing result. The number you've provided me are most likely only the first hit damage number, from what what I've calculated, it should be around 3250 after the hydro RES shred. This effect is very powerful, when applied the the damage number from the each stage will be the following instead: 1. 3673 -> 3952 2. 3993 -> 4297 3. 4762 -> 5073 Regarding your friends hitting 6k per rainswords, if you made sure that you guys have the same crit ratio, ATK and weapon, then most likely some sort of external buffs are used, it's very hard to say what exactly is involved, it could be one or a combination of them, but I can give you some examples: Geo and Pyro resonance, Zhongli shield RES shield, an anemo character is using viridescent venerer artifact set which shreds hydro RES when swirling, Bennett ATK buff when Xingqiu is onfield, Raiden Shogun elemental skill boosts burst damage, Lisa/Razor Defense shred, Yoimiya 4th ascension passive gives attack buff to nearby party member. My calculation are no where near perfect, but the difference should be around plus/minus 50. Hope this helps, best regards!😄

So 3045 is after his c2 activated. Either way. Thanks u so mux for answering my question. I'll try to do what u mentioned and build him again. ❤❤
@@crystal4595 No problem at all, this is a hobby of mine so I quite enjoy making videos whenever I found something interesting to share. Xingqiu C4 increases his elemental skill (E) damage while burst is active, so it doesn't contribute anything in boosting his Rainsword damage, you have a keen eye for these things . Sorry if calculation is a bit off, but at least the margin of error is within the acceptable range 😂. If you want to know how much a character is outputting, either for deciding artifact pieces or weapon choices, the best way is to just remove the other 3 party members, in that case, no external factors would be affecting your testing results, you can ask your friend to try this out as well.
He's the little water beast 😎. Intressting build u got here!!
