    I am slightly confused by this demonstration: Is the initial demo using DC?

      Yes. You can see it at the measuring devices or at the shematics.

Ok, so wouldn't this be more a demonstration that due to only DC in this circuit, the components won't have an Inductive Reactance (2pifL), and therefore you won't see a change in Inductance regardless of what material is used in the core? In other words, it's not really that Iron doesn't change inductance, it's that there is not any inductance to demonstrate since there is no frequency change?

      @@marcfruchtman9473 the inductance L is affected by an iron core. The inductive reactance XL depence on the frequency.
      In this vid veverything is correct.

      Don,t mix inductance L with inductive reactance XL. Of course, XL is zero when we have DC (frequency = 0 Hz)
