Michael sings Hanoi rocks song in Finnish television show. Still kicking as!!
Hello my favourite persons from youtube! This next song is sad, almost everytime, when i`m listening it , it makes me cry. after their drummers death, rest of the band dedicate this for him. this video is from finnish tv format "the song of my life." well -known artists perform the favorite songs of the program`s guests from different genres of rhythm music. after hearing each song, the guests guess whose guest`s life song it is. does that last sentence make any sense or anything what i just wrote??! hopefully you like this 3Lennu
Actually that wasn't Hanoi Rocks. Michael Monroe, the singer, was in Hanoi Rocks but the rest of the players were just studio musicians, although of very high quality. Marzi Nyman was on the guitar and he always delivers. This was a Finnish TV program "The song of the life". People bring their own choices and the audience get to guess which song belongs to whom.
Michael Monroe's latest album "I Live Too Fast to Die Young!" is excellent and I hope you react to some songs from it like "Derelict Palace" or "I Live Too Fast to Die Young".

the song is by hanoi rocks but hanoi rocks was basically abandoned in late 80's after razzle died... they still have done few come back tours and new albums here and there but monroe has been going for his own path for long time and its like ozzy osbourne after leaving black sabbath.
This is good, but the original is a million times better...

I'd say the '85 is the one you want, to deliver all the feels at once. The one with Terry Chimes on drums, where the band played about 3 weeks(ish) after Razzle died.

These were session musicians. I promise you, you can clearly see when Hanoi is on stage. I hope we get to experience it more times, a lot depends on whether Andy manages to be a good fellow human being long enough.
Michael also has done many things outside of Hanoi Rocks. A lot of solo stuff and other bands also 🤘

Not too bad version of one of the most beloved Hanoi Rocks -songs. I still need to say, I feel Michael shouldn't do this song without Andy (who wrote the song), not with this faceless studioband anyways, but maybe that's just me...

Sorry i missed this one. Michael Monroe/Hanoi Rocks were in my top ten, maybe even top five of favorite artists/bands when I was a teen. I never saw this performance. Michael did a great job and he aged well. Not everyone of my favorite front men from 30 / 40 years ago is still so recognizable😅
There's few made already, but the latest Michael Monroe documentary hit the theaters just couple a days ago: "Michael Monroe -dokumenttielokuva tulossa elokuvateattereihin 29.9." and "Michael Monroe Documentary Official Trailer (2021)".
Theres a new band i want to recommend, NEVER OBEY AGAIN, try "What If" and "Storm". Theyre from Italy and have an amazing frontwoman. Love the channel, would love to see you guys react to them. thanks everyone!
