This is so reassuring, especially since my partner passed 4-months ago, because he is communing many things Swedenborg - and you! - are saying in this trilogy. As if out of the blue, two-months ago, the two becoming one angel came was communed by him this and I knew it is true. It's only been with him, this depth of ESP with someone on the other side. The main thing for both of us was that here, we actually saw and felt 'life' and things/people.nature around us in the same way and often at the same time. Previously to this, I had an OBE experience of being in a semi-circle with my group soul, perceiving/feeling everything that was being shown to us simultaneously. It felt so right to be this way, so much more perception/understanding when our awareness is pooled, and a loss returning to this supposed individual identity. So I wondered about being so close to him for so long, and are we this way within the group when we return home because our relationship has been so focused? The feeling-truth that angels are two facets of the cosmic idea of 'human' merged, because of the purity/innocence of their love, just feels so true, so wise, so right... Don't know (yet) if Swedenborg talked about this, but what's been personally experienced is the group soul being a precursor/ stratum before re-merging with Divine Unity. Thinking we are individual/separate is one of the most painful feelings! and psychologically, one of the a core reasons for suicide.)

I think all "twinflames" create a "Ripple" effect in this world and beyond. Eddie and I had such trouble in this life - even split during this earthly existence - we were set up to become disillusioned because of the difference in classes of our families ---but the light of heaven brought us back together and he left me a message after he passed on about the two being one in eternity. 95 percent of people see twin flame or soul mate relationships as something completely different. Mostly these people were traumatized from their childhood, they have wrong attachment style and after the break up they miss the toxic partner tremendously as they missing the connection to themselves also. They usually call it that their toxic relationship was twin flame or soul mate as they felt some weird connection as never before. It usually happens between codependents and narcissists. It is a sad dynamic. Two very traumatized people are in a very dependent relationship (for different reasons) where they are arguing daily, shouting, they are unhappy, sex is mostly the only thing that keeps them together and usually codependent gets very emotionally high from it and is very dependent on this relationship. The narcissist finds it exciting to control, enslave and manipulate the codependent partner who unfortunately had such a similar parent in the childhood, so he finds this dynamic unconsciously attractive, but consciously destructive. I found my twin flame at the age of 19. He died 4 years later. My husband hates/hated him because he said he hated how much I loved him unconditionally. I had to grieve his death in private because it upset my husband too much, but honestly I couldnt help it. He was a mirror to my soul and I have never connected with another person as much as I do with him. We even spoke telepathically and I've never done that with anyone before or since meeting him. Only reason we didnt marry was because I did not want to be a military wife, but I didnt want him giving up his dream of being a soldier for me either. As a 75 year old Grandmother I would LOVE to understand how this works on the physical level!! Nowadays, most people have been married more than once! When two people marry, they are bringing together two different ways of "upbringing", each with preconceived notions of how things should be!! If each person is a Sovereign, Eternal Being, it would seem there is no way of becoming "one" with another person. We all know by now that the physical joining of two people does not necessarily imply "love" is involved. On the other hand, if each one of us is a part of The ALL(or Source...I no longer like to use the word God as it means something different to each person) then we ARE "one" with whatever else exists in The Universe!! I applaud any who have been able to accomplish a "oneness" on this plane of existence....that is, indeed, quite an accomplishment!! But it all comes down to a basis of genuine caring and respect for another person. Cognitive Dissonance is fueled by testosterone and estrogen. I seriously doubt this mix of emotions will rise from the grave. I believe there is a better mix of the Christ Mind in the hear after. I was also submerged in unbalances of data against my will, that made me insecure. Of course I couldn't freaking love squat. What were you thinking. (I'm just making light of it based on the way I think I use to think.) Our very beliefs systems are part of our cognitive dissonance personality and culture and the chemical reactions of insanity. We are betrayed by our very intelligence. If we are no longer lonely, what choices will then be made? What choices will be made when there is no longer a threat to our comfort? What choice will be made when the Truth is known immediately ? What choices will be made when Love actually touches us from all directions? Swedenborg describes an after life that is based on a flawed set of past DNA and culture and hormones. I would say, what effect takes place with an infected Tree?.....Of course the fruit will be flawed. Living in an environment of digital make believe and falsity of data, will of course bear the same fruit. Social media is in it for the buck, not the Truth. This is not going to end well for many. God is not shocked by the very outcome of that infected tree. There would be no justice if this God does not first set the mind free and give it a base of Truth. There is simply no way to handle an individual properly than allow them to experience Love without manipulation of lack of Truth and insecurity. It is quite possible we would Love in a different way if our hormones were not part of the thought system. Thank God for this Jesus Christ the remake in Spirit. A new creation. The choice of Heaven and Hell can not first be based on what level of hormones were in that individual. If fact the very belief structure of Heaven and Hell could in fact be part of the reaction to that complex mix of chemicals. I personally think we are in the contrast background of a rebirth presently. The darkness of the womb. The gift of God is being seeded by God its self. We base and build way to much thinking on the outer shell of the hard walnut. The "seed" has yet to spout. Most flow of doctrine is based on the cure of the cognitive dissonance whether past or present. There is a buck and purpose with it all. Boy do we need purpose and the dollar. I totally embraced "Conjugal Love" many years ago when I came across the book in an old book store. It still is a foundational concept that brings great joy for me. However, I haven't read Heaven and Hell, but what I've read about it - that Satan doesn't exist, that the Blood of Jesus and sin is never mentioned in it, tells me that Heaven and Hell is not Swedenborg's work. Who tempted Jesus in the desert? Satan has many mentions in the Bible. Have you ever read the Gospel of Bartholomew? He was the first angel created. Satan was in the garden.

Hi Dee! Good question. I would say that the twin flame concept or idea of soulmates or kindred spirits and friends is very real, but I don't think Adam and Eve is necessarily the same thing. According to Swedenborg, Adam and Eve is a complicated story loaded with symbolism, and they have more to do with our desire for free will and spiritual knowledge than ideas of marriage. Yes Vera, in works of art, we recognize angels by their wings. But Swedenborg doesn't report angels having wings, as they are just people who have chosen a life of mutual love and service. He says that wings symbolize or "correspond to" power, protection, and spirit, so it's no wonder that we earthlings use wings as a sign of angelic abilities and presence. Swedenborg reports a number of his "memorable experiences" in the spiritual world, and in one of them he says he saw "an angel flying in the eastern heaven." But the way he describes the flying is kind of Superman-style -- head first, cloak flowing behind him as he flew. No wings mentioned, but flying was happening!

Its rather very good news. We will have states of mind in agreements not contracts. Agreements lasting until they no longer last in Heart. Free to come and free to go without the heartbreak. The heart can not be broken as Christ is that Heart and Christ alone is at that Heart core. Yet two can agree if that is what Flame they agree to. There are quite a number of fish in the Ocean I hear. Its a big place. Contracts for many of us are to rooted in one place. There is no lonely in the next stage so keep in mind relationships are not based on that criteria. We also will be as very young children, with plenty of time to decide what the day will bring forth. Though OTLE has its opinion with the state of mind in afterlife, I will add that most of our personality will not rise out of the grave. Only the unique hidden Spirit we are will rise. There is a lot of baggage that will not proceed in the next stage.

In the New Testament, when Jesus was being asked about marriage after death, the inquirers were giving an example of one woman who was being passed from brother to brother as property. That concept of marriage has nothing to do with the deep union of heart and mind that is what true, spiritual marriage is. So, Jesus had to speak in parable, as he always did. There is potential for their roots to grow deeper together, intertwining over time and on into the afterlife. The same scenario is possible with two human spirits who find each other and make their start in heaven. Swedenborg says that what happens in heaven is always connected to our core love. If our marriage on earth is inextricably linked to our core love, it will not die with the death our bodies. A pair's network of roots will only grow together more deeply. If our earthly marriage does not have deep roots it will have played a part in our spiritual development but will not continue in the spiritual chapter of our lives. Beverly, what a torturous thought! Sounds like something evil spirits would LOVE for you to dwell on! Swedenborg talks about married partners meeting in the afterlife and living together, and assessing whether or not they want to stay together to eternity. Some do, some part ways and find other more suitable partners. It seems to me that this is a necessary process for any married couple to go through, and so it doesn't make sense that one partner would move on before the other, but I think it depends on the couple. For example, if one partner on this earth finds someone else, and actually feels more connection to that new partner, than I supposed you could assume the same for your partner in the next world. Or you will be given the chance to try life with both in the next world, before you make a decision. In other words - I don't know! But if you feel in your heart that your beloved is the ONLY true person for you, then I think that is your answer. Listen to your own intuition, and believe what makes you happy. Any thought that makes you miserable, fearful, insecure, etc is a hellish thought and not worthy of your time and attention! I watched this today bc I really thought my marriage of 24 years was my twin flame. This year something happened and he became extremely verbally n mentally abusive to me. Literally out of nowhere. So yesterday I told him that’s it. I packed his things rented a suite for him and kicked him out. I love myself enough not to tolerate abuse. I leave it in Gods hands. He always makes sure I’ll be ok.💚

This is so reassuring, especially since my partner passed 4-months ago, because he is communing many things Swedenborg - and you! - are saying in this trilogy. As if out of the blue, two-months ago, the two becoming one angel came was communed by him this and I knew it is true. It's only been with him, this depth of ESP with someone on the other side.
The main thing for both of us was that here, we actually saw and felt 'life' and things/people.nature around us in the same way and often at the same time. Previously to this, I had an OBE experience of being in a semi-circle with my group soul, perceiving/feeling everything that was being shown to us simultaneously. It felt so right to be this way, so much more perception/understanding when our awareness is pooled, and a loss returning to this supposed individual identity.
So I wondered about being so close to him for so long, and are we this way within the group when we return home because our relationship has been so focused? The feeling-truth that angels are two facets of the cosmic idea of 'human' merged, because of the purity/innocence of their love, just feels so true, so wise, so right...
Don't know (yet) if Swedenborg talked about this, but what's been personally experienced is the group soul being a precursor/ stratum before re-merging with Divine Unity. Thinking we are individual/separate is one of the most painful feelings! and psychologically, one of the a core reasons for suicide.)

Amazingly, Swedenborg writes about a state that God can bring us to in which we completely feel our connection with our Creator, and yet also feel a heightened sense of individuality. It seems that it will be a heightened sense of the particular aspect of God that we are channeling and sharing. Eddie and I - one of the songs we like and I play on guitar is "Ripple" - "Ripple in still water where there is no pebble tossed; no wind to blow." I think all "twinflames" create a "Ripple" effect in this world and beyond. And the greatest phenomenon is when one twinflame passes on- because the union creates a bridge between this life and the next. And the veil between the two worlds gets thinner. It is one of the crucial steps in bringing heaven's light to earth.

Eddie and I had such trouble in this life - even split during this earthly existence - we were set up to become disillusioned because of the difference in classes of our families ---but the light of heaven brought us back together and he left me a message after he passed on about the two being one in eternity. I am learning now - with him in that eternal space and me on this earth to begin that process of becoming one, so there is no division between us. And what a REUNION when I finally get to see him and be with him forever. 95 percent of people see twin flame or soul mate relationships as something completely different. Mostly these people were traumatized from their childhood, they have wrong attachment style and after the break up they miss the toxic partner tremendously as they missing the connection to themselves also. They usually call it that their toxic relationship was twin flame or soul mate as they felt some weird connection as never before. It usually happens between codependents and narcissists. It is a sad dynamic. Two very traumatized people are in a very dependent relationship (for different reasons) where they are arguing daily, shouting, they are unhappy, sex is mostly the only thing that keeps them together and usually codependent gets very emotionally high from it and is very dependent on this relationship. The narcissist finds it exciting to control, enslave and manipulate the codependent partner who unfortunately had such a similar parent in the childhood, so he finds this dynamic unconsciously attractive, but consciously destructive. I lost my soulmate to cancer after nearly 3 years of fighting 6 days ago. We both are young and never got to start a family or checked off everything on our list we had. Life just seems colorless without her. I really hope she’s there for me after I die. I miss her so much

I am reading a book called Visions, Trips and Crowded Rooms which describes the encounters of people on the verge of death, when loved ones appear to them. They are collected from hospice caregivers, nurses, and loved ones. It gives me chills!- Lori
I found my twin flame at the age of 19. He died 4 years later. My husband hates/hated him because he said he hated how much I loved him unconditionally. I had to grieve his death in private because it upset my husband too much, but honestly I couldnt help it. He was a mirror to my soul and I have never connected with another person as much as I do with him. We even spoke telepathically and I've never done that with anyone before or since meeting him.
Only reason we didnt marry was because I did not want to be a military wife, but I didnt want him giving up his dream of being a soldier for me either. It was a hard decision to make, but the most selfless one I could do as well since I always just wanted him to be happy with or without me.

In trying to serve a wide audience, we want to try using language that can reach a wide variety of people, in order to find ways that these seemingly different philosophies can find common ground. I certainly understand your discomfort with the term “twin flame,” but we have found there are also many people uncomfortable with the word “marriage” because of some negative association from their past! To become and evolve into our Divine Higher God-Self we need to get rid of our "Self" and knowing how and what to do. But that's another story!

As a 75 year old Grandmother I would LOVE to understand how this works on the physical level!! Nowadays, most people have been married more than once! When two people marry, they are bringing together two different ways of "upbringing", each with preconceived notions of how things should be!! If each person is a Sovereign, Eternal Being, it would seem there is no way of becoming "one" with another person. We all know by now that the physical joining of two people does not necessarily imply "love" is involved. On the other hand, if each one of us is a part of The ALL(or Source...I no longer like to use the word God as it means something different to each person) then we ARE "one" with whatever else exists in The Universe!! I applaud any who have been able to accomplish a "oneness" on this plane of existence....that is, indeed, quite an accomplishment!! However, IF we are only "players" in someone else's Video Game, that could explain a lot of the dissonance we see around us.

The confusion of earthly life, where we get bombarded by so many negative influences, can make it hard indeed to understand and find the kind of heavenly union that Swedenborg witnessed. But it all comes down to a basis of genuine caring and respect for another person. Any amount of that in a marriage relationship is something our Creator can work with to bring two people in the direction of heavenly marriage.
Cognitive Dissonance is fueled by testosterone and estrogen. I seriously doubt this mix of emotions will
rise from the grave. I believe there is a better mix of the Christ Mind in the hear after. We can only become one with all life when we are given the ability to operate in another state or base. If every thought has to first be filtered through our hormones, well I guess OTLE, will have a long line of misfits to walk back to a healthy state of mind. Good luck with that one. When I stand before God, I will save time by simply stating the chemicals you gave me God, did what they did. The testosterone caused the cognitive dissonance to be faulty.

Swedenborg describes an after life that is based on a flawed set of past DNA and culture and hormones.
I would say, what effect takes place with an infected Tree?.....Of course the fruit will be flawed.
Living in an environment of digital make believe and falsity of data, will of course bear the same fruit.
Social media is in it for the buck, not the Truth. This is not going to end well for many. God is not shocked by the very outcome of that infected tree.
There would be no justice if this God does not first set the mind free and give it a base of Truth. There is simply no way to handle an individual properly than allow them to experience Love without manipulation of lack of Truth and insecurity. It is quite possible we would Love in a different way if our hormones were not part of the thought system. Thank God for this Jesus Christ the remake in Spirit. A new creation.
The choice of Heaven and Hell can not first be based on what level of hormones were in that individual.
If fact the very belief structure of Heaven and Hell could in fact be part of the reaction to that complex mix of chemicals.
I personally think we are in the contrast background of a rebirth presently. The darkness of the womb. The gift of God is being seeded by God its self. We base and build way to much thinking on the outer shell of the hard walnut. The "seed" has yet to spout. Most flow of doctrine is based on the cure of the cognitive dissonance whether past or present. There is a buck and purpose with it all. Boy do we need purpose and the dollar.

I totally embraced "Conjugal Love" many years ago when I came across the book in an old book store. It still is a foundational concept that brings great joy for me. However, I haven't read Heaven and Hell, but what I've read about it - that Satan doesn't exist, that the Blood of Jesus and sin is never mentioned in it, tells me that Heaven and Hell is not Swedenborg's work. Who tempted Jesus in the desert? Satan has many mentions in the Bible. Have you ever read the Gospel of Bartholomew? He was the first angel created. Satan was in the garden.

I would love to read the translation that Curtis is going through in this video, but the text does not seem to match the Revised Standard Edition, or "Marriage Love," or any other translation of Conjugial Love that I can find. Hi Dee! Good question. I would say that the twin flame concept or idea of soulmates or kindred spirits and friends is very real, but I don't think Adam and Eve is necessarily the same thing. According to Swedenborg, Adam and Eve is a complicated story loaded with symbolism, and they have more to do with our desire for free will and spiritual knowledge than ideas of marriage. Yes Vera, in works of art, we recognize angels by their wings. But Swedenborg doesn't report angels having wings, as they are just people who have chosen a life of mutual love and service. He says that wings symbolize or "correspond to" power, protection, and spirit, so it's no wonder that we earthlings use wings as a sign of angelic abilities and presence.
Swedenborg reports a number of his "memorable experiences" in the spiritual world, and in one of them he says he saw "an angel flying in the eastern heaven." But the way he describes the flying is kind of Superman-style -- head first, cloak flowing behind him as he flew. No wings mentioned, but flying was happening!

Its rather very good news. We will have states of mind in agreements not contracts. Agreements lasting until they no longer last in Heart. Free to come and free to go without the heartbreak. The heart can not be broken as Christ is that Heart and Christ alone is at that Heart core. Yet two can agree if that is what Flame they agree to. There are quite a number of fish in the Ocean I hear. Its a big place. Contracts for many of us are to rooted in one place. There is no lonely in the next stage so keep in mind relationships are not based on that criteria. We also will be as very young children, with plenty of time to decide what the day will bring forth. Though OTLE has its opinion with the state of mind in afterlife, I will add that most of our personality will not rise out of the grave. Only the unique hidden Spirit we are will rise. There is a lot of baggage that will not proceed in the next stage.

In the New Testament, when Jesus was being asked about marriage after death, the inquirers were giving an example of one woman who was being passed from brother to brother as property. That concept of marriage has nothing to do with the deep union of heart and mind that is what true, spiritual marriage is. So, Jesus had to speak in parable, as he always did. If our marriage on earth is inextricably linked to our core love, it will not die with the death our bodies. A pair's network of roots will only grow together more deeply. Swedenborg talks about married partners meeting in the afterlife and living together, and assessing whether or not they want to stay together to eternity. Some do, some part ways and find other more suitable partners.
It seems to me that this is a necessary process for any married couple to go through, and so it doesn't make sense that one partner would move on before the other, but I think it depends on the couple. For example, if one partner on this earth finds someone else, and actually feels more connection to that new partner, than I supposed you could assume the same for your partner in the next world. Or you will be given the chance to try life with both in the next world, before you make a decision.
In other words - I don't know! But if you feel in your heart that your beloved is the ONLY true person for you, then I think that is your answer. Listen to your own intuition, and believe what makes you happy. Any thought that makes you miserable, fearful, insecure, etc is a hellish thought and not worthy of your time and attention!
