I am real happy I had time to fully witness 2021 Niko performance, the last 6 months of that year were absolutely bonkers. He could do no wrong, he had I think 37 or 39 maps without rating falling below 1.0 - not a single soul could counter Niko. s1mple's record is 31 map. That was a period of extreme CT meta and at one point Niko was the only player in the world with positive T numbers. He had the entire game in his pocket, it was beautiful.
In 2019 over 6 LANS (42 maps) with Guardian in the lineup, S1mple put up a 1.30 rating, 87.5 ADR, 0.84 KPR and 0.60 DPR. In 11 maps against top 5 opponents he had a 1.24 rating. All while using the rifle and secondary AWP. Small sample and Kreig meta, but goes to show just how absolutely GOATed this man is.
My favorite team ever is 2016 Luminosity i'll never forget that final vs G2 EPL Season 3 that bo5 is to this day the best I've ever watched of Counter Strike both teams going crazy with insane perfomances from Shox, Scream and Coldzera also the map pool was flawless i mean Overpass, Train, Cobblestone, Dust 2 and Inferno to finish up
Peak shox is some of the best CS you can ever watch, guy was so fucking sick. He was good with every weapon, unbelievable pistol round player, obviously one of if not the best mid - round players of all time, simply godlike at clutches. That intuitive feel for the game paired with his insane aim and gun skills made it so beautiful to watch him.
Coldzera 2016/17 is the best 2 year (b2b) high performance in CS:GO. Just for the stats: His 2016 major stats was 1.34 rating with 1.63KD, he was a +173. The second best Major performer that year was Device with 1.25 rating (0.09 worst) with 1.33KD and +71 kill diff.... Coldzera at majors in 2017 despite not winning: 1.32 rating with 1.54 KA and +126 kill diff in 15 maps. The second was tabsen but he only played 6 maps, s1mple was the next player with 10+ maps played and had a 1.29 rating and 1.40KD with +62 kill diff and 5 maps less... He was just in another league in Majors, its not that he was better performing on majors than others, he was WAY better then his peers in these 2 years at majors. But also had one of the great downfalls in performance, 3 years on HLTV rankings and 2 top 1. Probably because when he entered the tier 1 scene he was not a kid or a teenager like when niko/s1mple/zywoo/monesy/donk had they peaks. So cold had 2 great years in 2014 and 2015 but playing in Brazil and playing less games in big tournaments.
donk 2024 is an upgraded version of fer 2017, both hyper aggressive riflers, both never needing awp, both having very high impact on the team. fer could aggro lurk, be the hard entry and was the best player itw in 2017 at certain points, putting up higher numbers than cold in some tournaments. even more impressive considering he could hear like only 30% in one of his ears
The difference was peak mechanics, Donk is clearly more gifted then fer and entered the scene as a kid with 16y, Fer was already in his mid 20y on his peak years: 2016/17.
Your holiday season content is always unmatched, thank you! Bit sad tho thinking of the s1mple reflections, he desperately needs a team now to not go out with a whimper.
olof and cold werent pure riflers like getright and donk2024. They pretty often were 2nd awp and even sometimes olof was solo awping instead of jw. Calling zywoo hybrid player is little bit of a stretch. Cold and olof were real hybrid players.
s1mples 2018 (insane carry) and 2021 (the best a player has ever been, most complete) are still unmatched. But: donk has made me question how long this will stay, his 2024 already equals s1mple 2018 in matters of peak.
Is it me or is olofmeister a bit of a boring player? like u see it at the end of the game "oh wow olof has 32 kills" but u can never remember them. can u remember a single olof kill? but try guardian...u can see the flick I remember a guardian flick.

The way you make these tierlists always puzzles me. Like the setup and how you choose the pictures. Just put a block of text saying the year onto each picture... similar to ranking the 1.6 majors, just put a block naming the team and the year ffs... dont make it so hard for yourself. You can literally do that in MS Paint.
