- His songs were the theme song of our lives. This 2022, Gary V sat down with me and opened up about his personal struggles, his silent battles and the medical conditions he survived. At 14 years old, he was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes and was told by doctors that his case has an average lifespan of 30 years. Today, he continues to live his life with a purpose bigger than himself. I will always be grateful to be given the chance to share the same stage with him in my career. Today, I’m honored to hear his personal testimony.
If people only knew how many times this man nearly died and what goes on when his sugar levels drop dangerously low, they would be shocked. My living miracle walks the earth today only because of God’s grace and faithfulness. Thank you all for your loving and touching comments. To Toni our godchild this has got to be one of the most inspiring interviews in his lifetime and a lot of credit goes to to you and your team for your commitment to inspiring your guests and bringing out the best in them. Iba talaga pag sinurrender mo lahat sa kanya. Last year was really tough on us. I’ve been a severe covid survivor and after a month of discharging I was again in the hospital for having a heart failure. Then mid year I was diagnosed with cancer. Then we met Him ☝️. Iba talaga nagagawa niya sa buhay naten. Lahat ng doubts and worries nawawala pag sinurrender mo sa kanya. Bibigyan ka niya ng peace sa puso mo. At alam mong hindi ka niya papabayaan. I’ve experienced all his miraculous grace. Ramdam na ramdam mo yung love niya sating mga anak niya. Have faith in Him ☝️ kasi hinding hindi niya tayo papabayaan 😇😇😇

When this video was released, my mom shared this to me and she always tells me to watch the interview. I didn't pay attention to it until she died last January 6, 2023. She uses my youtube account so I went to the watch history and found this. I cried so much because my mom and grandma died and their gap was only 6 months. And every tragic thing that happened to our family made me question God's existence. Gary inspired us and made us know God through his songs. Grateful for my mom who introduced us to his music since we were still babies. We know that Gary gave so much impact to many different people including us. And I hope he'll always be remembered as someone who made people believe in God's grace.

I'm 81 and Gary still moved me with his journey as Christian. Truly he is an inspiration to eveyone who either struggling to find ng meaning in life or those are approaching that point of final encounter with our Maker.

@Marca, Gary is wrong, when He comes face to face with God, and say to Him, Im sorry.’ For our repentance should not be when we come face to face with our Maker and Judge, but, when we are on earth. Why say sorry to God during face off when Gary can repent now and say sorry to God and be obedient to God’s words while on earth?

As Gary started talking about God, i felt choking pain in my throat, and as he went on, I cried, and realized that even someone who almost had it all also felt as empty as I am right now. This interview is very inspiring, it inspires me to lift up everything to the Lord, to stop worrying, stop carrying everything by myself. My father died a year ago, before Christmas. Never had A chance to come home because of this pandemic. I sufferred, I mourned. But Im at peace. I trust His Plans for me.
My Gosh I can't stop crying😭 I remember again when my baby girl was born we spent 6 months in the hospital because she was born with a liver failure and the doctors did not find out what it caused and she needs a transplant immediately but she's premature and so tiny ang hirap mag hanap ng donor para sa kasing laki nya, she was in the urgent list for transplant sa buong UK list ng liver transplant pangalawa sya at sya pa ang pinaka maliit sa lahat because she was 2 weeks old white waiting for donor she's isolated walang ibang nakaka pasok Maliban sakin na baliw na ako walang tulog minsan Di na naka kain iyak nalang ako ng iyak habang naka luhod sa hospital room walang words na lumalabas sa bibig ko puro iyak lang and thank God it was a miracle indeed gumaling sya ng Di kelangan ng transplant. 1 week before the scheduled of transplant she needs to undergo test kung kakayanin nya ba ang major operation and nakita ng doctors na teka lang parang gumagaling ang liver nya day by day at yun after 6 months we're home Thank you Lord
I'm in the point that I'm losing the battle with my spiritual life. I just prayed to God, cried and asked for forgiveness. It's a blessing I found this interview, it helped me renew my relationship to Jesus. 🇨🇦

I don't know what happened but when i hear those words i literally cried.. and I realized how faithful our Lord Jesus Christ 😢 indeed Jesus works in mysterious ways, 2020 my ate had covid, our house was burn,and this coming feb my mom is having major operation.. but He never failed to provide our needs❤️

I probably haven’t shared this with anyone yet and I’d like to share it here because one of his songs made such a great impact to my life. I was 18 yrs old, alone, lost, was crying all day, at the verge of killing myself. I felt like the whole world left and betrayed me then I suddenly heard his song “Natutulog ba ang Diyos” playing somewhere. I listened to it and cried even more. I realized, I never really prayed sincerely to God before. Then I prayed. My life was changed since then. I was able to redeem myself and that song was my light peeking through that dark room I was in. God spoke to me through your song right at that moment. It’s as if he was telling me, I am always here just waiting for you to call me. Thank God for using that song to save me and thank you for your music.

For me, this is the best I have watched of Toni Gonzaga's blogs. Not only because I have been a diabetic for more than 40 years now, from 17 years old to 60 years old and may still be counting, or because I am also a heart bypass (quadruple) survivor (March 2013), neuropathy carrier since 1994, left fifth toe amputee in 2017, and microscopic eye lens operations due to cataracts in 2005 and May 2013, respectively, but most of all, because I am a Christian as well. I cried hearing Gary V.'s experiences with and about God. I was so touched that my tears suddenly felt like bursting from my eyes and my chest feeling heavy crying out loud with so much thankfulness for the Lord. This is one very meaningful video of Toni Gonzaga, and I hope this is the start of more profound, more meaningful stories, more important for people to see and hear.

Im in depression and anxiety. Living alone far from my family and worrying much with them and in the future gives me anxiety. And when i always cried I always played “The warrior i a child” of Gary V. After crying while listening to that music, after a while I get better, and prayed. That song gives me strength because I always thought that the warrior is me and I can do all things as long as I am with God. ♥️

And it feels like I’m alone like alone alone, and God responded to me “I’m here for you always” and na feel ko ung comfort and love na hindi ko na experience sa kahit sinong tao. And I then realized that sometimes God allows things to happen in our life (like darkest one) but not to harm us but to reveal Himself that He is loving merciful, Father.
