"No Diggity" is such a timeless jam! This track brings back so many great memories of the '90s. Blackstreet really knew how to blend smooth R&B with that catchy beat. Yes autotune is right I do know. It just wasn't called that then. It was an effect patch which copied the sound of an actual physical talk box used by Roger Troutman aka Roger and Zapp. Zapp being Roger's voice through the talk box. It still did the same thing. It took the incoming sound and allowed the user to change the key it is in.

@jar7636 that makes zero sense. I'm an 80s baby, born in 1985. Which means my music is typically the 90s and 00s, and I still listen to the music that came before me and some of today's artists. Music will always have a feel no matter the age group.
Dr. Dre is arguably the greatest rapper/producer of all time. His new album in 2022 is pretty damn good. His style is crazy now. Never heard Dre like I have in his new album the Contract. The dude has created beats for thousands of hits and he is still dropping good music. Definitely the most intelligent rap artist. He sits back and watches where things go in the industry and then he strikes with real rap making all those mumble rappers bow down. The man has observed for years. Real OG!

The first part of this song is Grandma's hands of Bill Withers who died March 30th 2020. Rip Bill, let's protect our elderly from the virus and try to make a call to them every day so they feel less alone at home.
That’s my birthday love bill withers
My grandma is in Denmark with my aunt so there's nothin to worry about
Nearly 27 years later, and this song is still straight fire 🔥

I worked on this video . I was the Lead Carpenter that built the Love Shack on Malibu Beach . The interiors were shot in the Mayan nightclub in Downtown L.A. - great song , great video , honored to have played a small part in it
Terence Mirley soooo cool
The only relevant, interesting comment on this whole comment section on this video! Hope they paid well!!
Ben Clarke - thanks for your comment - they paid well but we worked long exhausting stoned days ! It was all worth it when we saw how they put it all together .
@@gosforthlad It immediately sounded exhausting when you said stoned haha

If you ain't nodin yo head listening to this jam, you ain't hip hop..
If you ain't noddin' yo head listening to this jam, you ain't _alive._
i’m dancing to this song -
Hell yeah man. I'd dance but its 3:48 for me rn.
Music doesnt even feel like this anymore. Music had a feel in every era, and now its numb
That's so true, now the music is popular just because of the people, not because it's good

Nah, we are just getting older and new music doesn't appeal to us.
@jar7636 that makes zero sense. I'm an 80s baby, born in 1985. Which means my music is typically the 90s and 00s, and I still listen to the music that came before me and some of today's artists. Music will always have a feel no matter the age group.
This song is so chill wth
Real OG!
will have to give it a listen, you've sold me
straight up n thank you. :D
Technically he doesn't need to work again, he became a billionaire after selling his Beats by Dr. Dre headphone technology to Apple.
@@chindleymuffin thats a beautiful thing.
@@sk8brdkee has Dre ever been on a track that he didn't produce or help produce?? You don't know Dre.

It was the 90’s and obesity wasn’t being promoted as body positivity trash.
I’m still a child, but when I tell you, my family and I live everyday like the 2000’s. I mean it. We all listen to Gospel, R&B and HipHop. And this, this is a masterpiece right here.
Classic I love these beats 💓 90s R&B rules always 💯
