    I really like your voice and the way you present the information. You are wonderful!

    You have such a nice, calming voice.
    I really enjoy this style of video, cause its not a travel channel that overhypes everything and feels like a commercial , it's just your collection of memories.
    If you like books, i advise you go in Bucharest 's Carturesti Carusel, it was voted between the most beautiful libraries of Europe.

    1:35 Romania never was part of the Soviet Union. It had a Communist / Socialist system planted by the Soviets, but was never part of the Soviet Union.

      Yeah I know, but thanks for clarifying it, because from my words in the video it sounds like I'm confused!
      When I was talking about the theater looking "greek-soviet" I was not trying to be historically accurate, it was a joke only about the external appearance 😊

    You actually visited Brasov in Romania. I live there, and I'm a Romanian citizen not a Transylvanian.

    • @martinafacose
      @martinafacose  9 месяцев назад +1

      Two things can be true at the same time! My hometown is in Italy, but it's also in Emilia Romagna (the region). Here I used "Transylvania" to be more specific, so other travelers can immediately understand where I went, Romania is a big country after all! 💖

    traveled 15000 kilometers to get to romania and brasov but the lifts were closed on weekdays so cant visit the top unless you can walk kilometers up the mountain

    how did they not allowed you to seat next to each other? cuz when i buy train tickets and is somebody with me, all the time they offer us seats next to each other, hmm..

    • @martinafacose
      @martinafacose  10 месяцев назад +1

      The lady working there didn't understand we were together and she immediately printed a ticket for my friend, who was first to show her documents for the student discount. When I asked if I could get a ticket next to my friend, the lady said no, I'm guessing because our tickets were printed separately and the place was assigned at random. It was mostly because of the language barrier, the lady didn't speak English well and our Romanian is still terrible, so it makes sense that we couldn't understand each other properly! It was not a big deal, on the way back we were ready for it, we communicated better and we got tickets next to each other 💞

      @@martinafacose ah i understand, most people that work at this train company (cfr) dont speak very good english but enjoy the trip here^^

    • @martinafacose
      @martinafacose  10 месяцев назад

      Yeah it's fair that they don't know English. It's my job to learn Romanian since I'm in Romania now 😂

    • @rolderic5659
      @rolderic5659 10 месяцев назад

      @@martinafacose its gonna be easy since you are from italy and some words are similar, but is kinda hard this language, i would continue to speak eng, but you can learn a few words, for example pizza in romanian you say pizza too😆😆

    • @martinafacose
      @martinafacose  10 месяцев назад +1

      It really hasn't been easy so far ahaha, I go to Romanian classes every week and my brain just refuses to remember stuff😂 but I really need to learn some basic things. "pizza" for example is really important 😂
