Hey Beth, Please review 'Hi Ren' by Ren or the 'Tale of Jenny and Screech'. Ren is an awesomely takented singer, lyricist and instrumentalist and he isn't one to shy away from subjects such as mental as in Hi Ren or domestic abuse as with the Tale of Jenny and Screech.

Beautiful song great vocals but he’s not really playing the piano? The notes don’t match up they’re in the wrong key ? And he plays them in a different key signatures in a few of his videos as in he doesn’t use the same notes in different videos but yet the piano seems to be played in the same key every time and also why does his piano sound exactly same on every piano and keyboard he uses ? It looks a bit suspicious to me don’t get me wrong love the song love the singing but he’s not playing the piano - he’s probably miming to a recording he’s already done. I believe he can play the piano and this is a recording of his beautiful piano playing I’ve just not seen him actually play the song live in any of his videos …. Despite that I love it and I play it myself on my Spirio over and over again (though correctly using the black keys - which he never uses)
yes looks like a fake piano performance, it is hard to play on the piano and live performances are often fake to an extent...
The piano that he originally played the song on was out of tune, that's why it doesn't sound the same. The piano in this video was clearly tuned correctly.

@@royaltygangg agree u can fake a piano but the sound track I’m hearing doesn’t match up with what I’m seeing.. So we’ll put it down to what is factually true. It is him playing the piano in these videos but as he’s playing in a different key the sound track we’re getting is a backing track, so he’s playing the same Song in a different key but not having that actual live audio presented in the video…. It just looks off to me… But I’ll watch some more of his videos and then I’ll discuss it with the rest of the youth orchestra, where I play piano

Yea I could tell when he gets to the golden hour part he was higher but without auto tune he was lower
