@@tylerricker230 I honestly think it's just like any of us getting tired of our jobs sometimes. We usually deal with the same routines month after month, same as they've been playing the same maps year after year with very little variety in anything what comes to HCS/ranked. He still definitely loves Halo, generally speaking.
@woodsyjones gotta remember they're the only team out of the bog three that has been I believe 5 times in a row in the grand finals. So the team definitely has all they need to win the tournaments as well, but differences are so slim at the top, it's basically a coin toss between all of them in the grand finals.
@@tylerricker230nah all the other teams took over, aPG wasn’t good enough of a role player anymore, his talent isn’t close to deadzones, they wouldn’t have won any of these events with aPG either, difference is deadzone produces consistent seconds 💀 which is better than not getting second I guess, trippy isn’t that special either due to inconsistency, I’m not sure what they should do but the move wasn’t keeping aPG

optic can beat ssg with their current roster, its just that bound legend and stellur were just playing extremely well this tournament.
The slow starts are what kills optic. When they come out swinging they take over. It showed in that Shopify series. Just gotta approach every series that way. They’ll get one this year, hoping it’s the most important one!

@@shafialanower3820 Optic are the slower team in the HCS, while SSG and Shopify are both the fastest playing teams. It's about adapting to a different pace or determining the pace of the match that they need to work on. They have the pieces, and have shown flashes of this, like they did against Shopify, they jus need to put it all together.

@@MyFirstInstinct Momentum is literally unstoppable if everyone gets loud there, the last thing you want to do is bring Tommy back to earth when he’s on another plane of existence after that overkill - let him ride that momentum as long as possible. Teammate was dummies, could’ve easily gotten ball on time. Even if ball resets optic is right there on spawn, has tower control, and Sr is essentially 4 dead. They’re just too uptight for my liking in this situation, gotta hype him up heavy after an insane individual play. Not to mention you can literally do both… scream loud af or yell “nice” then say “get ball”.
@@ZondaTheGoat That's literally what they did. They hyped him up and told him to get ball and they mopped with Shopify the rest of the series. I get it, from a fan's perspective it's more entertaining when the players are popping off but there has to be a good balance between that and staying locked in for the win.

ya this has always been a thing with halo, the comms are total chaos and if u don't play comp halo it sounds like total gibberish. even if you do play comp sometimes it still hard to understand lol but its fun, i love the energy of halo players
