This has quickly become one of the top three mma shows of fight week. I really appreciate your time and excellent perspectives. Any thoughts or lean on Jailton vs Blaydes? My read is Almeida will be so much faster and stronger than Blaydes that it will look shocking. I expect a quick sub and Almeida will look like a humongous favorite. Thanks mate
Thanks a lot for the kind words Fah, I really appreciate it. Almeida vs Blaydes is one of those fights I can't get a good read on. For me, we just haven't seen enough footage on him to see how he stacks up against Blaydes. Almeida is definitely my lean though for the reasons you mentioned. I can't wait to see how this plays out. Good luck for this weekend mate. ❤️
Whoever spotted that possible Staph on BSD's forehead did some awesome detective work 🔍🧐...Thanks for all the extensive research on this card this week Chris.
Did you notice that he also wore a hat to the Press Conference today to cover it up? What do you think it is? Good luck for this weekend bab mate, I hope you crush it. ❤️
@@DiaryofaProGambler I did notice the hat. He's had a hat on for other interviews this week also, including the 6 hour fighters interview that they did before the press conference. However, I agree if he had an infection on his face the commission would have no choice but to cancel the fight. I'm going to monitor the weigh-ins and the odd movement heading into the fight. I don't have action on either side yet. You're the only channel that I've seen mention it possibly being Staph. Great catch!
@@bab3293 Not necessarily- I can’t recall the fighter (I think it was Kevin Lee) but a couple of yrs ago a prominent ufc fighter had a massive blob on his chest that was clearly staff and he fought and then admitted it in the octagon after the fight when Rogan asked about it. He was permitted to fight. I know you guys remember that fight it’s hard not to The image is still emblazoned in my mind. It’s a catch 22 bc an infection can weaken you obviously but so would an Rx for ABX so many fighters choose to just fight through it without tx.
I would say that Tim Welch is the best coach in the game and that is what wins this fight for Suga... KO/TKO rd 3 I think Gilbert subs JDM rd 2 and Dustin finishes BSD rd 4
This is a great point that I never thought about. Vera’s fight IQ is so bad. O’Malley’s game planning and strategy is great. Like you said, I bet Welch has a big part to play in that. Good luck for this weekend Ziggy mate. ❤️
If you said Chito loses off his back, I'd agree. To say he's "weak off his back" is a bit disrespectful. He attacks constantly off his back trying to finish the fight. He is losing while he does it, but he is not "weak" laying there getting beat up.
I just think that 9 times out of 10, being on your back is a losing position. Vera choosing the stay on his back and hunt for longshot submissions just isn’t good. Good luck for this weekend mate. I hope you crush it. ❤️
I think the problem with Vera is that he doesn't fight at a very high pace. Yan made O'Malley work very hard and Moutinho came forward with constant pressure, which caused O'Malley to burn through a lot of energy. Vera is one of these guys that fights at quite a low pace, which means O'Malley probably won't have to burn through as much energy as he did against Yan and Moutinho. This should mean his cardio will hold up well. You never know though. Like you said, Vera is a cardio machine and 5 rounds is a really long time. Good luck for this weekend Kevin mate, I hope you crush it. ❤️
I always reference your breakdowns before every UFC event. Strong content and professional delivery. There is a reason your channel IMO is gatekept. If more bettors referenced your perspective before betting, the market would be nuked. You'd really make the bookies jobs much harder. Keep up the great work dude. How about Dustin has only lost to a striker once in like the last 4 years, anytime I can get Dustin plus money im taking it... i wont go crazy on it but gotta sprinkle a little on him. i also bet this fight to end in 2,3, or 4 and i think i have a nice value there not having to pick a winner
Literally everything Chris said in this video came true - except maybe Florida judging not being that bad in the end. Now that Benoit has come clean about the infection, it just goes to show how determined the UFC and their staff are to not call off fights. It's an awful situation to put everyone in.
I would love Vera to win this weekend, his long periods of inactivity just bother me a lot. Hopefully he can find a way to get it done this weekend. Good luck rpg mate. ❤️
Vera is an anomaly, with his last minute type wins..Both BSD and Poitier being south paws should limit the kicking game of BSD, those body kicks will not be available against another south paw..That's a fact..BSD will have to rely on his overwhelming style and wrestling game..If Poirier is still there at the beginning of the third round, I would bet on Dustin winning this fight..Actually I think Dustin will win anyway, unless he gets caught in a guillotine early..
Song yadong is one of the biggest in division and yan is one of the smallest. I expect song to clinch and work for takedowns. He’s gonna learn from the suga loss, possibly same with Chito.

That comparison makes no sense at all. Tony is aggressive and flashy and rolls around like a monkey. Chito just plods forward engaging in a medium volume kick boxing fight, and will grapple but you generally got to force it.
