Why does everyone emo look so cute when they cut their hair... I literally get hair all over myself and I look like a domestic hyena. My similar video was not nearly as adorable haha
I dont think I do but thanks haha. I prevent hair from getting on me as much by leaning forward over the sink or counter and clean it up afterwards lol
I used to have the "scene/emo" haircut all throughout highschool and for a while afterwards as well (starting at 15/16). I fucking LOVED it. But then I had family members judging and telling me that I needed to change and dye my hair for jobs and shit. It killed me because having my hair blue, purple, pink, green - having it those kinds of colours were a big part of what made me feel like me. And having my hair styled scene/emo was another big part of what made me feel like me. I only dyed my hair "normal" colours for maybe a year, most likely less than that, before going back to my colours (this was at 19) and have felt better and more like myself. I haven't quit since then. But I'm going to be slowly starting to transition back to my "scene/emo" haircuts. Not as extreme as it used to be, but I'm going for it. I couldn't give a fuck what my family or anyone else thinks about it. I'm so sick and tired of trying to please everyone else and feeling depressed and shitty because I can't just do what I want or be who I want to be. I want to make me happy for once. I no longer care what anyone thinks about my hair (which is absolutely ridiculous that anyone should be judging me because of HAIR) or anything else about me. I'm just going for it For all of the older kids/younger teens - I KNOW that going against what your family or friends what you to do can be beyond difficult. But they can only judge you or be mad at you for so long before they just accept that it is literally just hair and it makes you happy. And that it might be something that just honestly doesn't last forever. I'm not in your position, I never will be. So for me to say go for it and do what you want is a lot easier said than done. But don't waste your time worrying about what others MIGHT think or do. Go for you, make yourself happy. Do what you want because at the end of the day, it's your life, it's your happiness and YOU'RE the one that's always going to be there for YOU at the end of the day
Oh trust me, same thing happened to me. My mom would literally throw away my makeup and clothes (which was not all cheap), tell me I couldn't be friends with people who looked like that either, and my dad would text her about how I looked like shit. Eventually my mom got over it because she knows i'm not going to change and do it anyways, my dad still bugs me and I'm 21 now, even though I've been this way since like 14. My schools didn't allow it either, so when I had dyed hair it wasn't until I was in cosmetology school like in this video. That's a main reason I chose to do hair, my dream job is interior design, but I still love doing hair and wanted something where I could look however I wanted to at work. I live in a conservative place so I've even had one salon say we couldn't dye our hair like??? It's a salon? Didn't work there long needless to say. I totally agree with you. It's the 21st century, nobody should be judged on fashion and appearance. My teacher told me "Normal is just a setting on a wash machine" lol
I really want that hair style but I think I'm to young im 10 and I can't do hair by myself and I asked my dad if there's any barber shops that do that hairstyle he said no
Every time I try to watfh these vids, I want to cut my hair like this but I constantly get hair everywhere and it looks extremely uneven. Even to the point where my dad (or a family member) recommends me going to a hairdressers/stylists to do it lol
I originally got something close by a hairstylist to get the base style then cut the front myself cause I never found anyone who did my bangs how I liked. Only reason I touch up my own layers too is cause i'm also a hairstylist so I figured out a way that worked for me but it's hard to explain lol. Ofc it's 3x longer now and I don't cut my layers as short anymore. I just haven't made any recent videos
Thancc, i need this because my hair is not too short, not too long (a little above shoulder length) and my mOm fucked it up. I need to do this now lmao
I've been getting the same comments for so many years it doesn't even bother me anymore tbh, I like it so I honestly don't care if others do. The sad part is it's always from adults, it was never other people my age when I was a teen. Even if I style it more normal I get comments just because of the colors lol. You will be judged for doing anything regardless, so do whatever makes you happy.
I only ever got bullied by adults (who are supposed to be mature) not even teens or kids lmao even now I still do just for the color. It quit bothering me in highschool because I kept hearing the same stuff so often it's kinda entertaining now. I like it so I really don't care what people say
I keep watching these videos but im too scared to screw up my hair lol
Yo give me an update did you cut your hair?
did you!?!?

I really want that hair style but I think I'm to young im 10 and I can't do hair by myself and I asked my dad if there's any barber shops that do that hairstyle he said no
For this you'd want to go to a regular salon not a barber shop
Well, you're 12 now :/
I’m 13 and want to do this hairstyle ..
About my hair 😂😂 how do I do this cause only half my hair goes down to my shoulder and the other side is short
Maybe.. grow your hair out and then cut it again like how it’s in the video
The problem I have with cutting my hair wile its wet is it always falls when its dry cuz when it's wet it stays in place more

A year later I still cut my hair this way (just better at least) and have been for almost ten years now lmao
