Well robert a very interesting video you be able to have your own honey shop the old Byrd house farm is beginning to be a working farm bring it back to life specially growing your own produce vegetables e,c,t well done robert you come a long way and now it shows all the best Andrew south wales uk 👍 👌 😀 🇬🇧
wOODY IS VERY skilled and has a good relationship with his bees to do extractions with no suit on, We liked working with the carneolans also. Cinnamon in the hives worked well to send the ants packing.
Robert, you really got brave there. I noticed you took off your netting helmet n going naked with those honey bees. This was exciting to watch. I believe in saving the bees. I try to plant many flowers that they like. There’s a lot of lingo words in regards to the bees that I have no clue what they mean. I know you can use the wax for candles n yummy use their sweet honey on everything. I guess I’ve got to wait for the next video to watch how he gets the honey. You better video that! LOL. I think your doing a wonderful thing with the bees ♥️. ♥️♥️♥️😊👍👍👍🌟🌟🌟 🐝 🐝
OBF Honey, 70-80lbs! Exciting! Looks like you are learning quickly. Brave without gloves or mask. Great shots. The new GoPro clarity is definitely greater, its light and color variables and depth. Really shows up on wide screen. Beeutiful! Enjoyed!! Can't wait to see the next step! 👍👍❣️❣️🐝
Wow! That was so interesting to watch! Thank you for another video that never seems long enough. I am looking forward to the next one. Have a great day!
Robert, I grew up on a 27 acre farm but we didn't have bees. Our neighbors did, but I never saw them harvesting honey or servicing the hives and preparing the bees for the winter. I learned a lot watching this video, really fascinating. Mr. Apiary man, you are awesome! Cheers, Rik Spector
I love watching your videos but your bee videos give me the heebie-jeebies. I feel like I'm surrounded by bees along with you but I'm allergic to bee stings. Love what you are doing none the less. I'm just ever so thankful for the barrier of the camera/screen.lol
I miss my bees. They will tell you when they need help or hungry. I had 2 hives they loved it when I made sweet society pickles.. you did good work today only one sting
I am with a lot of you all I could not get that close to them as well for one thing scares me. Second is I would be eaten...thanks you for sharing with us take care 🙂 ❤️
I remember an adult student I had some time back, she was a beekeeper. It was easy to tell when she had been working with her bees, little pink dabs of Benadryl on her face and arms. I'll send my address if you need an Old Byrd Farm honey taster who will be fair and impartial.
Holy Bees! The quality of the video is wonderful! That new GoPro is amazing! This is a great Teaching video. I had no idea that ants would do that. I guess it makes sense! I've just always wondered how the first person decided harvest and eat honey! Without the knowledge Bee Keepers now have...kind of a spicy endeavor! 🐝🍯
It was a great video. Im not a fan of bees because im highly allergic to all stinging insects but Id never harm them. I just wont go near them. Hazmat Joe there has the right idea. Totally covered. But the guy with nothing on.... well youd want him on your team when things go down.
I've always been interested in the art of bee keeping but I'm very clumsy and have lazy tendencies . I would probably wind up like poor little "Thomas Jay" 🐝

My Grandpa was a beekeeper he called it robbing the bees .We always had honey in the house ,he was gone 5 or 6 years before i had to buy any
Very interesting video, Thanks!
Thanks for the bee video and update
It’s pretty cool how the bees get all that honey and then I’m not a fan of honey. Oh my kids are.
Big buzz around home produced honey.
Bee stings are awesome for arthritis!
Like a flu shot, you good for the winter months.😊😊😊😊
When I got stung 3 times in the face, I didn’t have a migraine for a couple weeks after that too
@@THEOLDBYRDFARMVLOG hurts like he'll, but very healing
Interesting video
Thanks for sitting up..
Suiting sp
loved this!
My uncles used to keep bees!
I've always been interested in the art of bee keeping but I'm very clumsy and have lazy tendencies . I would probably wind up like poor little "Thomas Jay" 🐝
Amazing
Certainly not my unfriendly Texas bees that you wouldn't dare dealing without gloves and face covered
So how much honey did you get? Did I miss that part? In quarts I should ask.
Not sure in quarts. Woods says the total weight at the end of the vid.
My son does bee keeping.get your face n bee keeper suit on.
Protective clothing?
great video ,learned a lot
Glad to hear it!
I love the honey, but I hate bees, made me nervous just watching those bees swarming around you guys
They’re not really that scary. Especially considering the only sting I got was my own fault for putting my hand on a bee
Get to the point please
lol if you say that then you missed the point of this documentary on harvesting honey 😅🤣
Stay calm..I spun out honey 2 uears..😊
