Yo knight shadow I can't seem to evolve my combusken to blaziken despite reaching muyuan town, in monster carnival i got a starter shard pack buti cant get here so how did you evolve your starter?
They removed that thing. If you really want to evolve your starter complete field investigation blue tasks that will give you starter Pokemon flute. Or you can also catch torchik from Route 41 then evolve and release . Btw they removed some things 1st shard exchange 2nd Muk from Route 33 3rd this starter thing😢
In the monster carnival, I used the shard exchange, but with the game being updated to the monster advantage, the shard exchange was removed, unfortunately. Also after restarting in monster advanture I actually did not Evolve my start later until I got to the 6th gym I think but torchicks can be caught on route 41 or you can use flutes at the safari zone to catch them which are obtained by most of the blue daily investigations.

It can be helpful to get the extra gems and honestly I don't think that is something that I would do knowing that I could use the gladius on exhaust energy then grind for a few hours to get the gems but it is a nice shortcut. Gladius flower are flexible with what they can be used for but don't really have a good specific thing to use them on but can offer a shortcut depending on what the user is trying to do. So I can not say it was a waste because I am sure you're going to make great use of the gems you got from them, and it saved you some time.
That's a good question. Sometime there are event that reward you for spending gems but they are not as good as they used to be although I do try to time my gem spending during those evens to make the most of spending my gems so far the best thing to spend gems on is EV upgrades, closeness stones, pokemon cards, trail stones, gashapon tokens, safari zone passes and maybe some events but not all of them.
@user-zo2yp4ji6s It has worked that way in the pasted but I don't know if they will change it up or not. One thing that I have been doing with spare pokemon balls is just catching any pokemon If it easy to catch in case it is used for an event like this.

Bro I just bought 4 supreme rb gems with 20 fire crystal which cost me 40 gladiolus. So it's worth it or it was just a waste of my gladiolus?
