How do I update my wordpress websites PHP version???

Hi, Yes you can change the php version if things don't work out. Some plugins are always slow to upgrade or sometimes you need to move an old site that needs to use an old version of php.

Thats fine, on your dashboard you'll see "site health" that will tell you when you need to take action regarding your php version.

Hi, I think it could be an issue with one of your plugins, disable them one by one and keep testing. If you can't access the dashboard you might have to go in via your hosting panel , look for "file manager", then locate the plugins folder and rename each plugin folder one at a time eg. rankmath to rankmath_old - that disables the plugin, then just undo the name change and turn back on when fixed

My problem is that the webshop that I have is not compatible with php 8.0 or 8.1. I guess that the plugins have to be updated as well. But that depends on the programmers of the plugin.
