I don't know their vocal training everyday but apparently base on their interviews they can really understand each others vocal range. Even if one member sing a song impromptu they know when or where to harmonize..
you should react to their interview with miss toni gonzaga, their story is so inspiring and funny at the same time. You would love them even more after seeing that, the vid has eng sub so you'll be able to understand it, they sang there but just a short part of their song. Plss watch that video❤️

the one you talked about was Ken, in the low register 🌻 and also each of them have its own video of them practicing ikako, and the process of learning it ( while in pablo's video it can be seen how he kinda came up with the ideas and the production of the song).
SB19 has the most perfectionist leader, her dad even shared that once Pablo said "it's good" it means it's really really good. And I think that's one of the reason why all of them become so disciplined when they performed. They got the best leader who knows the strength of each of his member since he's the distributor of the lyrics, composer and producer now. And one of their strength is their harmony.

Yes, they are perfectionists, doing "good" is not enough for them, esp their leader, Pablo who's their lyricist and the one doing the arrangements of their live performnces also distributing the lines to each member.
Well, The Leader Pablo is very perfectionist, other members say that if they get out of tune, Pablo will look at them like 🧐 haha, and they also show that in recording Stell's part in What The Making Film. You should watch that. Even the main vocalist Stell needs to go on repeat recording until Pablo's ears are satisfied..haha PABLOs ear in music is really topnotch
Pablo, is really strict even with Stell when they are recording he is a Virgo, a perfectionist by nature. He distributes lines for their songs & writes the lyrics with his co-members in mind, that's why their songs are good because Pablo, is a well rounded artist himself he writes, arrange songs for his co-members and their harmonies to showcase their strength vocally. They are a group not an individual performer when they sing they don't compete with each other but compliment each other. Shocks at this hour? It's around 3 am here in the Philippines HAHAHHUUAU anyways, today is SB19's BITZ Concert!!!! Another thing, you guys mentioned that 'they might be perfectionists', I think yes, their leader, Pablo (John Paulo Nase) their composer, lyricist, producer, line distributor, etc is very strict when hitting notes. As per the other interviews they had before, they mentioned that when Pablo hears some off-tune, sharps, and flats, he will automatically react to it and polish it. So I think that one counts as a perfectionist 🤘🏻
Pablo, their main lyricist and composer, is a perfectionist when it comes to their performances. Pablo is also incharge of their line distribution and he always say that he is confident with their capabilities that's why he gives them those lines. He's the leader and all the members respect and trust him a lot and it shows. Also, they are so used to singing live before, most of the time with no in ear monitor, so they understand how to work with the mic to modulate their voices when their doing harmonies on top of the fact that they know really really well their vocal assignments.
Before becoming artists, SB19 was under their agency as performers. And for years of no progress in the industry, they've performed in hundreds events where audience were like 5 people, 10, 20 people. There's even a video of them performing in a small event with three mics. Imagine 5 people performing with 3 microphones. That has gotten a lot of attention from lots of people. They have to make the most out of that performance. In short, they're so used to performing in places where everything is against them hence why their current excellent performing skills. Btw, Ken is the one doing bass often.. everywhere, everytime haha

Each and every event that they had before the pandemic, they always arrive at the venue hours before the call time, to rehearse and make sure to check the mics that they will be using. And the fact that they're singing just like they really are performing already.
Speaking of their amazing harmonization, I just remember their Rolling Stone Twitch interview. They suddenly jumped into a harmony and the host asked if that was rehearsed. Haha. I just love them so much! Thanks for always giving your honest insights about them!

Before the debut of their group, they have been on training for almost 4 years with no assurance if they'll make it to the limelight. Also, the struggles they went through contributed on how good they are both recorded and LIVE performances. Ugh! I just love them 💙💙💙💙💙

They do have a global live rehearsal..you could see how they prepared for it...dance practice, brainstorming and they'll show you a glimpse of recording and composing their own rap verses on some of cover song for that concert

Thank you again Waleska and Efra! Based on their interviews and from all their vlogs and behind the scenes, they already know their vocal placements every time they sing. It's like they already have their position and just follow that every time most especially in vocal harmony. They can even do that vocal placements and harmony work impromptu and have us listen to their amazing harmonies live without any rehearsal, the host of Rolling Stone when they were interviewed even asked if they rehearsed when they sang a bit on the game part of their interview and they didn't because they only sang the song because it was answered by Pablo for the segment. According as well to their Korean teacher, their ears are really well-trained that they knew how to adjust with each member and of course, Pablo is a perfectionist so he always tell each member if they go off-tune and even attend sound system check to at least make sure everything is okay when they perform live. They also only resumed their vocal trainings with a new vocal coach this month as for the past months, they are really busy preparing for a lot of things and their Korean teacher is in Korea for over a year now due to pandemic. There are some footages of their rehearsals but most of the time it was short and you can also actually see them playing and being relaxed there. aside from learning singing at early ages thru karaoke, one more advantage of filipino singers is that mall shows, town fiestas, corporate and private events, restaurants, among others, love hiring live singers. there are endless platforms where they can sing live and hone their craft. in sb19's case, their korean handlers always book them in events esp. in the korean and east asian communities in the philippines. that's why they are pro at live performances. but they keep on improving! justin and josh improved a lot since their debut...

Pablo, their main lyricist and composer, is a perfectionist when it comes to their performances. Pablo is also incharge of their line distribution and he always say that he is confident with their capabilities that's why he gives them those lines. He's the leader and all the members respect and trust him a lot and it shows.
Also, they are so used to singing live before, most of the time with no in ear monitor, so they understand how to work with the mic to modulate their voices when their doing harmonies on top of the fact that they know really really well their vocal assignments.

Before becoming artists, SB19 was under their agency as performers. And for years of no progress in the industry, they've performed in hundreds events where audience were like 5 people, 10, 20 people. There's even a video of them performing in a small event with three mics. Imagine 5 people performing with 3 microphones. That has gotten a lot of attention from lots of people. They have to make the most out of that performance. In short, they're so used to performing in places where everything is against them hence why their current excellent performing skills.
Btw, Ken is the one doing bass often.. everywhere, everytime haha
I think all of them are perfectionist, they don't settle for less. I remember Pablo saying that for them " stage is sacred" that's why they should perform at their best always
Each and every event that they had before the pandemic, they always arrive at the venue hours before the call time, to rehearse and make sure to check the mics that they will be using. And the fact that they're singing just like they really are performing already.
Speaking of their amazing harmonization, I just remember their Rolling Stone Twitch interview. They suddenly jumped into a harmony and the host asked if that was rehearsed. Haha. I just love them so much! Thanks for always giving your honest insights about them!

They do have a global live rehearsal..you could see how they prepared for it...dance practice, brainstorming and they'll show you a glimpse of recording and composing their own rap verses on some of cover song for that concert

Thank you again Waleska and Efra! Based on their interviews and from all their vlogs and behind the scenes, they already know their vocal placements every time they sing. It's like they already have their position and just follow that every time most especially in vocal harmony. They can even do that vocal placements and harmony work impromptu and have us listen to their amazing harmonies live without any rehearsal, the host of Rolling Stone when they were interviewed even asked if they rehearsed when they sang a bit on the game part of their interview and they didn't because they only sang the song because it was answered by Pablo for the segment.
According as well to their Korean teacher, their ears are really well-trained that they knew how to adjust with each member and of course, Pablo is a perfectionist so he always tell each member if they go off-tune and even attend sound system check to at least make sure everything is okay when they perform live. They also only resumed their vocal trainings with a new vocal coach this month as for the past months, they are really busy preparing for a lot of things and their Korean teacher is in Korea for over a year now due to pandemic. There are some footages of their rehearsals but most of the time it was short and you can also actually see them playing and being relaxed there.

aside from learning singing at early ages thru karaoke, one more advantage of filipino singers is that mall shows, town fiestas, corporate and private events, restaurants, among others, love hiring live singers. there are endless platforms where they can sing live and hone their craft.
in sb19's case, their korean handlers always book them in events esp. in the korean and east asian communities in the philippines. that's why they are pro at live performances.
but they keep on improving! justin and josh improved a lot since their debut...
