Yes, no harm in going for CA now. The subjects are similar however the exam pattern is different so you'll have to get used to that now. In regards to articleship, you'll have to probably do it again as CA doesnt allow articleship until you have cleared your inter exams.
Sir I am a CA student and ACCA student too and I want to say specifically in India CA are always considered as more prestigious course as compare to ACCA. In addition to this in terms of Jobs CA are considered on the priority. In terms of cost factor I truly appreciate ICAI for providing CA course at a very reasonable cost.
Assess your ability in putting in the efforts. CA is lot of efforts, ACCA is doable cos of one paper. Opportunities are similar however you need to complete the qualification.
