It seems that many people don't understand the difference between a stage performance and a movie performance. When you are on-stage with people way up in the rafters squinting to see you, over-acting is a MUST. When you are watching a movie, every little motion is easily captured and conveyed to the audience. When you are in an audience of 1000 or even 100, every motion must be exaggerated in order for it to be properly conveyed.
Thank you for the great illumination. A jewel of a voice, of a performer. Her enthusiasm and dynamic energy infects the orchestra as well. To your point, the audience entered into this voltage of a performance.

I've been playing so much ballet music since then, incidentally lots of music by Delibes the same composer of this lovely aria. I have studied his 3 ballets - Sylvia, La Source and Coppelia extensively for work. All beautiful music! Very novel.

I really also appreciate her diction. She has a really nice natural tone to her voice. I bet she's a freak in the bedroom. I certainly hope so! And the wind, btw, perfect!
