How to travel for less, specific recipes to stretch the grocery budget, best tips tricks and apps for when you do go out to eat, places to buy kids clothes, fun free or low cost family activities. I have really tried to be mindful of frivolous spending as well, it feels good to save money and also to have less stuff and clutter.
FYI Walmart's Great Value brand is the exact same product as the name brand. Made at the same factory and everything. I just found that out while watching an investigative report on Walmart and Aldi. Thought you might find that interesting. Have a wonderful day!

I'm 62 now, and don't have to watch the budget so closely anymore [although, with retirement just around the corner, things will change!], but I still enjoy saving money! I even go to the thrift stores on Tuesday, which is 20-30% off for Seniors, lol! Hubby always remarks about why I bother to go on Senior day, but I tell him what Ben Franklin so wisely said, "A penny saved is a penny earned!" We just found out today that our boiler needs to be replaced for thousands of dollars, but there should be enough in the savings to cover it. All those months and years of saving made it possible! You "look well to the ways of your household," dear, as the Proverbs 31 woman did...Well done!

yes, you guys don't need always new things... for me as an outsider, the part of my family that are from the US always gives me cultural shock, you know? Because here in Brazil we don't have this urgency to buy new things or newer "tech", everything you say in this video is just normal life for everyone outside the US
