2 mainas were outside my window and I just searched for this sound and played it on full volume and now they started screaming and looking every where but can not find it. It was so much fun.
I've been to Hawaii almost every year since i was a little kid and then COVID happened. i used to absolutely DESPISE these annoying birds because they would start chirping as soon as the sun was up and all I wanted was sleep, but I miss them so much now :(. anyways back to writing my essay lol.
That birds song is amazing, So peaceful and sweet. Reminds me of my childhood camping in the northern NWS area. I had Such an idyllic childhood which I thank God for often and wish I could give my children the same.

On 4:12:2020 I caught a injured maynah and I feed and took care of her/him but when I saw some people were feeding ther birds or pet from this video I also thought but next morning it passed away 😭😭😭😭😭😭 💔 my heat breaked 💔 😭😭😭😭🙏🙏🙏🙏
They do that :) Very territorial, and they defend females and territory aggressively from other Mynas and other bird and animal species. That scream is usually because of fear and anger, and to act as a warning. Apt description, though.. ;)

I came to this video because for past few days a myna bird is coming next to the roof of my house sitting on DTH umbrella and making such shrill sounds, hence I just fed up with her and wanted to teach a lesson, therefore after playing this video now the myna hovering from my house roof water tank to next house DTH umbrella and later sat on the Water tank of my roof top and have gone mute 🔇

As a kid I saw these birds all the time and thought that their eyes were massive and yellow, it wasn’t until a while later until I realised that’s just a marking that they have near their eyes after watching this video
@@guhane1568 In my lawn, the whole Elf Owl family along with their babies were forced to leave their nest because of these aggressive birds who took over. They do make annoying noises when try to fight or invade nests of other birds.
