I haven’t gotten to FTT 210 yet but I am excited for it what caliber is the Muzzle loader and more importantly what is the purpose of wetting the stock and sanding? Do you soak the stock all the way through or how long did you wet it for? I am trying to prepare for when I get mine and I want to my best so any and all advice is appreciated
Wetting the stock makes the whiskers of the wood stand up so that you can sand them out before you apply finish. It keeps them from standing up when you apply the finish or sealer. You can drench the stock with running water, or dunk it in a tub or something, but I wouldn't soak it.
I really enjoy seeing these Sdi
