Never heard of this Elive. It hasn't even been mentioned in reviews on many sites. For the common man even with a bit of IT knowledge, going to CLI is bothersome. Elive seems to be heavily dependent on CLI, like many other distros. Despite all the superiority Linux is said to possess over Windows, unless CLI-dependency is eliminated, Linux will continue to be used only by a small percentage of computer users. I have a Kubuntu laptop and Win 11 laptop. Only for browsing do I use the former. The rest is handled by Win 11. Wishing Elive all the best. Hope, they will come out with a version that can be used by the common man.
