I'll admit that I was one of the people fooled by the media while Trump was in office but I also kept an open mind and spent the entire time saying "Well Trump has proven me wrong again!" It wasn't until a month before this last election that I really started to do some digging and realized how much of his dialogue was being skewed. Thank you to Eric Trump and the rest of his family for all they have sacrificed for this country! This interview was amazing and eye opening. I've sent it to the rest of my family to watch. :)
@@MrsJPTheBulldogs No. I'm sure we listened to the same one. It just appears our standards are quite different for intellectual discourse. But to you as well. Merry Christmas to you and yours. And have a great 2022!
Great interview, Brought up some really good points I will keep in the back of my mind for future conversations, many things I've thought of, but didn't know how to articulate. I wish more people could have open conversations like this. I feel like it was honest. You mentioned at one point a majority of people (including myself I fall into this group) mostly just keep quiet and go along with things, because we don't want to lose our jobs, and its true, I don't agree with the narrative that's happening, but go along with it, just because I need to survive and provide for my family, and I feel like I cant have a voice, or I will get shut out. But seeing these conversations, watching podcast like this, encourages me ,I'm not alone, and maybe more conversations like this will happen in society. I am hopeful things can get better and people will start having more common sense. It feels like you cant talk about these topics, social media, or even just at work, without upsetting someone. Why are people not allowed to have an opinion about their health, bodies, spirituality, ect?
I have never watched before, but I wanted to hear what Eric had to say. I’m officially a fan and will be following and catching up on past videos/interviews. It takes a lot of courage to do this in this media/MSM climate of cancel culture! I haven’t seen you dragged that bad yet, which gives me hope that times/people are changing. Bravo! You’ve gained a supporter here.

Nice Conversation 👏 I am really enjoying your podcast and different type of guests. Huge respect for the Trump family and how they had to work at a young age. I always enjoy their personal stories.
He says "At what point"? Pretty much at the point where everyone just minds their own damn business and people stops worrying about what everyone else thinks of them!!
I regret I didn't vote for Trump this time and I have talked to many people that feel the same way. I didn't believe this country could get any worse but it is downright scary. I won't make the same mistake again. Trump 2024.
I miss my President so much! We need him! We need him back in the Whitehouse! I have never begged in my life but let me tell ya, I feel so desperate that I am ready & willing to go beg President Trump to please get his butt back in the Whitehouse! I miss him very, very much! Forget the left versus the right! I don’t care about political parties! I care about the preservation of our Constitution, our country and making America and Americans the best version of ourselves! No joke, we NEED that man!
If people want a real podcast with a former athlete they should check out JJ Redick's "The Old Man and the Three". It's awesome. He gets athletes, politicians, actors, true star-level and a list people with influence. It's a great listen.
@@amywilkins543 You should. You'd likely be impressed with the level of Redick's podcast in comparison to Curler's. The difference in their approach to these projects are a reflection of their careers. Redick worked his tail off and carved out a nice NBA career. Every teammate he ever played with loves and respects him and his work ethic. It's evident in his podcast. He was a leader. Cutler phones it in just like his football career. He commands little respect from his peers and even his home town is embarrassed by him. This podcast has that feel. Mediocrity without much effort.
@@amywilkins543 You should look the guy up. One of the best shooters in NBA history. Went to Duke and no one thought he had a chance in the NBA. Unlike Cutler he worked hard in the gym, in the film room and on his game. A guy everyone thought would be out of the league in a couple of years at best tuned into a 14 year veteran and a player everyone loved to play with. In fact I think one of his last few contracts was for over $20 million for a year. That's how valuable he was in the locker room and as a shooter. The podcast is excellent.
I bet Jay's ex wife was a lib and of so in have no doubts they argued over that some cause I think it's fair to say Jay is a conservative. I mean his values line up more to the conservative side
I disagree - I have no idea what Jay Cutler thinks or desires . Personally I would love to see the Trumps subject to capital punishment . But it is a great thing to try to have discussion with people who you disagree with . I could point out soooooooo many holes in the things that this kid said - but it is oK to listen

Dude, people in Santa Clause, Indiana don't even wear this dude's jersey and that's where he played high school football. Seriously, we live 20 minutes from there and my kid's soccer team plays Heritage Hills every year. Cutler's own hometown acts like he doesn't even exist. They all say he wasn't good enough. I quote "that kid was a good high school quarterback who backed his a$$ into a D1 scholarship and then somehow found himself in the NFL. He should have been an insurance salesman." That's how little people think of Cutler in his own hometown.
@@mikeyt34 100%. My theory on why that is can be traced back my above comment. It's the right/conservatives that cater to mediocrity. If you achieve a level of success that you didn't really earn, aren't deserving of, and didn't work very hard for the right gives you shelter. Jay Cutler, with his half-a$$ed approach to his career and lack of results carved out a long career. Jay Cutler IS white privilege. He knows this but wants to lie to himself and tell himself he was great. The right says that white privilege doesn't exist so he's going to fall in line with that. It allows him to pretend he was really great even though he wasn't close to as good as he thinks he was. He's a right wing hack because that line of thinking allows him to protect his fragile ego and self-image.
