It is saying that it is hard (not meaning DIFFICULT), but HARD on the person. He makes it painful to go to hell. Do you recall the scripture that says "going through the eye of the needle"? The eye of the needle was an opening in the Wall of Jerusalem. Only the person can squeeze through it. If you had a camel carrying all your stuff, your worldly goods, you would have to UNPACK all your stuff and carry it into the city one bit at a time. You had to tie up your camel outside the wall, fearing someone may steal it while you are inside the city. That's why FEW shall enter- because not many people want to unpack their baggage to enter the kingdom. ❤️

It prevents them because those people refuse to get rid of their love for their possessions, their BAGGAGE (like their sins and non-repentance). They do this to themselves! They refuse to follow Jesus who changes them to be sin(baggage) free. That's what this parable means.
@@lindaclark6148 ah, yes. Baggage is not so much about possessions as about what we do to obtain / retain them. And the unrepentant heart is a biggie. When someone hurts us, we are suppose to turn with the eye of the Holy Spirit and dig our heels in with forgiveness not revenge.
I don’t claim to know when rapture is BUT isn’t that “going to prepare a place for you” Scripture about our eternal home after we all die? Bible scholars mostly agree it is. SO WHY is that a great pre-trib argument? Speaking arguments I’m not trying to start one I’m just looking for a reasonable biblical reason to believe in any one of the eight different theological positions in rapture. If there’s eight different rapture version in the Bible according to theologians, seven people are wrong..
