UP and Bihar should go for population control policies like southern and western states of India. Instead of pan India policy, states which have more than 2.1 % of fertility rate should go for two child policy, infant mortality control, women education and empowerment.

@sridam biswas even I am agree with ramdev suggestion to block people with voting rights and public benefits. But Maharashtra is not densely populated compared to state I mentioned . Look 2011, sensex population sensex , Kolkata with maximum people as per square km . And arunachal capital with least . And Rajasthan inspite having largest land mass have least population wise density.
We should follow the carrot and stick policy. In India population is 3 times more. So we have to take some concrete actions. People can be penalised but child rights must be safeguarded.
Already 85% youth are educated so there will be mostly one or two child.. If they rich enough can go for more but it will be mostly fertility rate less than 2 in coming years bcz middle class cant afford more than 2.. Average Fertility rate of 2.3% is due to couples who have 1 child or no chield, otherwise most couples in some special communities have average fertility rate of 4 to 5. Growing population has threat on national security also.

I have some radical ideas to stop population growth:- 1. Marriageable age should be increased upto atleast 25 years of age. Such step would force parents to send their girls for higher education and getting jobs. This will result into women empowerment which i think is one of the most important factors to control population growth. 2. Healthcare and Education policies for women should be strictly implemented on ground level to empower them. 3. Formulation of policies to incentivize couples to go for adoption of orphaned child instead of having their own. 4. Reservation policies should be modified as per 2 child policy. 5. States performing better in controlling population should be appreciated by the centre and special grants and privileges should be given to them. Poorly performing states should be penalised and it's govt should be criticized at national platform by our Media.

I agree to two child policy . But yes ➡more focus should be on creating awareness and ➡ maybe Govt should fix a date, and those couples who are expecting after that date would be denied of many benefits if they r planning for the third child. Denial of benefits to those who already have more than 2 children when there was no such policy- I don't think this is right. But future parents should be aware. ➡ Free sterilization camps should be organised and those who decides for this , monetary incentive should be given as a token of encouragement for others as well.

I am originally from Bangalore and was associated with an NGO for quite some time, My team mainly focused on child education for underprivileged students. Many times I got a chance to speak to kids parents, almost all of them had an impression that, more the kids they have, more is workforce and better is the future. In my opinion, education is the main key factor. We can have one child policy for a decade and then implement 2 child policy. Even more rational way to collectively move towards prosperity is, adopt a child and stop having own kids. Of course! Now people will argue and belittle my thoughts in n number of ways.

➡ maybe Govt should fix a date, and those couples who are expecting after that date would be denied of many benefits if they r planning for the third child. Denial of benefits to those who already have more than 2 children when there was no such policy- I don't think this is right. But future parents should be aware.
➡ Free sterilization camps should be organised and those who decides for this , monetary incentive should be given as a token of encouragement for others as well.

I am originally from Bangalore and was associated with an NGO for quite some time, My team mainly focused on child education for underprivileged students.
Many times I got a chance to speak to kids parents, almost all of them had an impression that, more the kids they have, more is workforce and better is the future.
In my opinion, education is the main key factor.
We can have one child policy for a decade and then implement 2 child policy.
Even more rational way to collectively move towards prosperity is, adopt a child and stop having own kids. Of course! Now people will argue and belittle my thoughts in n number of ways.
