Good question, You should be able to keep the same, might depend on that state and the shop you use if you don’t do it yourself. The rebuild was cheaper than buying another TJ with their inflated sale prices and I got to rebuild the way I wanted it to be
Man the new frame looks really clean, is it new? I picked up a cheap Jeep and the frame is shot. Trying to figure out if I want to buy a used one or drop 5k on a new one. It’s a project for me and my son.
I bought this frame at a junkyard from a Florida Jeep with no rust in another video I posted. I cleaned it and coated it but it had no rust damage to begin with. Try www.car-part.com to search junkyards near and around you. If you see multiple Jeeps at certain locations, it’s worth going and inspecting for yourself and making an offer on parts. It was a year long build for me. Good luck to you and your son!
Replaced frame and tub? I might have to do the same. Love my TJ. What problems are there with registration and VIN, etc...?

I don't think I would have bothered. That would have killed my mojo, good on you
how much does it cost to replace a frame and how much to replace the tub?
Lucky guy!! ;)
