I Never been there but did research on it before. Probably at the library in a book. Ya know before the internet.....haha
I first saw an article about this in one of my grandfather's old Popular Mechanics magazines back in the late 70s

They have a few different tours but this one is not really listed. You donate to the organization and then schedule your trip. We saw it as a way to help the construction. Its was a $250 donation for our family to tour the top.
