  • some of us got these badly glued headbands, if you didnt go for the warranty replacement, this could help you :)
    I also know at some poin this issue got fixed, and some people also got headbands whose plastic is not clear as mine but sort of whiteish, that wouldnt look as cool so be weary of that before just ripping the fabric out because you want the same look i got...
    Do it at your own risk, you should be handy with tools and have generic knowledge/experience in repairing things to be sure you dont do something notsmart.

    Is there any way to get the clear plastic off? If I could do that, I could put my own fabric on it

    I really don't recommend the remove fabric and potentially damaging your headphones. Instead, I would suggest to find a way to disassembly to put back the original headband or a replacement. Better be still able to sell your Momentum if you're disappointed with the product.
