Three years ago, I watched this video after paintballing with some friends. Just standard recball stuff. I watched it over and over, and I knew this was something that I wanted to do. I wanted to be that guy sliding head first in the mud. I wanted to be the guy running down and bunkering the snake 2. I wanted to be the guy in a gritty snap battle, paint everywhere. Today, I play with San Jose Royalty, a far cry from the green beginner, aching for his shot to do those things. Thank you, Alex, you may not know it, but this is what started me on my paintball path.

One of the best videos for the sport that I've seen in a while. Call me crazy, but I think that what every you're using to film captures the way that a lane actually looks like when you're playing and makes the video that more real.

Why do Airsofters and paintballers hate each others Sport? I play speedball, mil-sim paintball and sometimes travel across town to play Airsoft. I just enjoy shooting people and having fun meeting new people. It's amazing how many haven't tried the opposite sport. If they did they'd realize that both are fun and have great, friendly people to play against
But airsoft sucks
I play both.
I know, man. I play both and although I prefer airsoft, paintball was what got me started and both sports are fun as all hell. Why not accept eachother for our similarities, not hate eachother for our differences? Peace brother.

Airsoft: Plastic balls and arguments "I HIT YOU" "NO I HIT YOU!"
Airsoft: Higher fps, more realistic guns, no big shaped balloons for cover,less expansive, clothes don't get ruined with paint

higher fps with microscopic plastic balls once again paintball is a real sport paint ball is more (expensive***) Paintballs are made out of water base so they don't stain and paintball has more realistic guns than airsoft and we have 10x the amount people playing paintball than airsoft
***** I hated airsoft when I tried it. The gun sounds are so annoying, they don't sound very realistic... They sound like dying battery-powered cars. Plus it doesn't hurt, also unrealistic.

whens the last time you saw 3k people show up to play in the same 48 hour long game? d-day in oaklahoma has that event every year, not to mention the other huge paintball scenarios that are just as big or bigger (like living legends).

This is speedball. There are other forms of paintball. Don't make it seem like this is the only true form of paintball
I hate speedball, more of scenario/woodsball myself, speedball is a waste of ammo and is who has the best gun to spray with.
True, but i think woodsball is just for fun and speedball something what we actually can make a sport of it. (just a personal opinion)
Well yea. Speed ball is a faster pace game and have rounds. Woodsball can last all day. but it does draw thousands of players including speedball due to the fact that it's as close to as milsim that it gets. There are a lot more objectives. Bigger fields and not justbteam working but it also includes sustainability in the area you are operating in.
Paintball is paintball, woodsballers play their woodsball, speedballers play their speedball, and occasionally we join on the same field and same team on scenario days and help each other out, so quit with the bitching and help paintball grow...
