@@distillinginaustralia3257 I'm good. Have stalled a little in some areas but pushing forward in others. You know how it is.

Another top video Nick thank you. Have been learning so much through your journey so really appreciate it. Quick question - do you source your bottles in Australia or from China? Currently looking at bottles from a few Chinese suppliers.

I have sourced from China. Simply not available at any price in Australia. Thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed the vids. Nick

Great Vid Nick really enjoyed how you do things, it is different to my style, what yeast strain did you use for the slight fruity back taste?

      DISTILAMAX® H T Temperature stress tolerant yeast
Selected for its ability to produce low levels of congeners

Hi Nick, What was the volume for your foreshots for this run?

Hi Nick, how long did it take to do your run from start to finish with your setup? I’ve got a 4” 4 plated still with 500mm packing section + 95L boiler on the way and wondering how long runs will take me. Also, how are you accessing how much power you need to put in as the plates start loading?

Hi Matt, about 2 hours to heat up (but I only run at 75%) then about 4-6 hours to collect depending on settings. If it's not too late purchase another 2 plates to make it a 6 plate system. Here's a link to power ruclips.net/user/shortsSRCkSkeE5Ww?feature=share
I have 2 X 5000w elements running on single phase.
      Welcome to the family.

@@distillinginaustralia3257 Thanks Nick. At the moment I can only run 2 x 2200w elements for my 95L but plan to upgrade once I move house. How much did it cost to get 2 x 32amp circuits installed with GPO's?

@@TPGMatt For only a 95L boiler and 4inch column, you wont need more than 4400w anyway. You'll find you'll be heating up with the full power, and then only use 3600W for the spirit run. Too much power and you are just going to flood your column.
+1 for getting an extra two plates, if you want a better neutral.
Where did you buy your still from?
