I know this is a pretty basic video for you to make, but it is really helpful! Appreciated

Had zero tds water, but found that phosphate was 0.5+ on the output water. Swapped out sediment filter and two carbon blocks, and started getting output with phosphate of 0.03. Lesson learned, tds is not a good indicator for depleted first stage filters. I spend more on salt and water charges getting tank parameters back vs having proactively swapped out a couple carbon and sediment blocks.

When would you recommend to change out filters if a whole house water softener is being used?

If the sediment filter is not in too bad of a shape, can it be washed out and reused?

Do you have a second apex for your RODI system.
