At the start it said that scream was about witch hunts in the middle ages is that what it's about it seems cool and alot like their concept I'm so thankful for DREAMCATCHER releasing amazing music!!!
It's actually about how current society like cancel culture are like witch hunts. The dystopia arc is about cyber bullying and how many people are accused/hated by people behind a screen (here a mask). People can say anything online anonymously, but that doesn't mean it doesn't hurt. The next song Boca has the line "Too many angels dying now" which references all the people who have killed themselves over this.
