I admit I laughed a little bit when the main character was panicking a bit when she thought that her real best friend (a guy named Alex) had gotten a sex change and divorced his wife. However, I am happy that this channel didn't demonise the transgender community and chose to just go the mistaken identity route.

He was a feral cat like his mom. She disappeared about a week ago. I miss her but the kitten comes in as long as I leave the door open. It's a work in progress. He's even getting use to people but will still run off when someone comes in the house. No problems with coyotes but I had raccoons come over when I was feeding the cats outside. I understand alimony when two people are married. But I don't understand compensation when people break up. This is so stupid it is unreal. This must be in some country not the USA.
There are some instances where you can sue for alimony even if you never married. I think Pennsylvania is one of those states where it’s possible

A promise to marry then cancel, the injured party can charge them palimony. Most just refer to it as alimony.

This was just a simple google search and it goes way more in depth; but at least half of the U.S. has a Promise of Marriage clause that couples can sue for. If you agree to marry someone - you go through the process of setting up the Marriage such where there would be heavy fines and penalties for cancellation (Like booking a venue, booking catering, etc.) that all cost time and money to establish; then you can rightfully sue your partner who cancels the wedding for no proper cause, runs away from the alter, or sabotages the relationship that would cause the wedding to be canceled; such as cheating. You are engaged and Promised to that person and people can spend up to hundreds of thousands of dollars for a wedding. Just because you cancel, doesn't mean you get all that money back. Especially if you are say...a MONTH away from the wedding? Catering is booked - the Venue is booked - you will be charged for those expenses of what could be their bare minimum to even full price because they have no time to rebook themselves for that day to be reimbursed for your cancellation. So you would be able to sue your partner for those prices if they are the cause for cancellation.
If I were in this situation (hopefully that NEVER happens), and my ex was begging for a decrease in the amount he has to pay me in compensation, I would tell him that I’ll be talking to my lawyer about an increase. He’s frankly lucky it’s only $20,000. I feel like Anna could have demanded more. She likely lost a lot of money on all the cancellations she suddenly had to take care of. Alone.

Would have been funny to see crazy Alex's reactions when she decided to message Anna about everything. She thinks she's messaging a childhood friend only to get yelled at while being asked if she got a sex change & got divorced, she's then made aware that she is not in fact Anna's best friend from childhood but another Alex that is a married man with a kid on the way or something is the best friend. Crazy Alex puts herself in denial, makes Anna aware who she is & gets called a creep that stole from Anna & that they were never friends thanks to crazy Alex's actions that she's in denial of.
Crazy Alex then expects Anna to show up to the wedding which doesn't work out & then found out Anna not only will not show up but is suing her for ruining Anna's wedding. Crazy Alex is made aware that her plan was not fully planned out as she finally realizes she's in serious trouble & Anna really hates her & won't back down. There's no giving Brian back & there's no way to lower the amount as crazy Alex acts like her past actions never happened as she asks what she did to make Anna despise her & maybe tries to guilt trip her when she asks what happened to the nice Anna she was friends with.
In the end crazy Alex is forced to apologize, is forced to quite her job & move back in with her parents so they can keep an eye on her while she works to pay off the loan she was forced to take out. Crazy Alex with luck this time will never be able to interact with Anna again & is also forced to accept Anna not only despises her now but also be made aware someone else is Anna's best friend from childhood.
It would seem that the authors do not understand a criminal case and a civil case. Suing someone for money is a civil case. Pressing charges means pressing criminal charges. They are not the same.
They don't understand alot of things, though maybe it's outside the states idk. I can't imagine it's so drastically different in other countries

I had to read this this morning and once again, you make it extremely difficult to read when you write with white letters on a pale background. For Pete sake‘s, change the background colour and leave the printing black. The background colour tells us who’s talking but at least you could make the letters readable. I know I’m not the only one who has said this. I’m not even sure if you actually read the comments. Try reading the whole story yourself without volume. Maybe you’ll actually realize what people are talking about. It’s really frustrating! Ugh! One of the worst places is @7:20 minutes in.
