You just need to keep in mind that your payoff is putting all those cards you made them draw back into the deck into order to help secure a win. Which is kind of a disruption if anything. I have the deck. Was able to throw the pieces my friend had back into his deck that he needed. He had to pass turn. It gets fun when you get to do that.
I've tested the heck out of this deck since prerelease because i'm playing it all the way until BT-14 (Then it's Patamon time!!!). Some tips I've gathered Nicolai is a MUST. I see a lot of Japanese lists not running Nicolai and a lot of people aren't sold on him. I've won more games solely because of Nicolai than I've lost. Ratios I've found for 3s, 4s, 5s, 6s: Everything at 4 other than BT-13. In order 3-6 for BT-13 I've found 2,2,1,2 to work really well. 4 bt-13 rookies only if you aren't running tech rookies like Syakomon. Bt-13 Gaomon rarely comes up because the current meta (Shine and RK especially) we want to build in the back and BT-13 has a mid inherit and rarely attacks. BT-13 Mach has won me a few games at 1, getting around a full board of Royal Knight blockers and the new shine tamer blockers Try to hold evolutions until key moments and focus on prioritizing inheritables. You don't want to drop BT-13 Gaogamon if you don't have Thomas ready, especially playing it at 2, unless you don't have other 4s. You don't want to waste a 4-of that can bounce if there's nothing to bounce. You want your memory boosting inheritables on board when you start swinging for big turns. Weave in tamers and blue memory boosts to use up memory rather than evolving just to evolve.
Nicolai is a Bait. He is a 3 Memory do nothing card. Cant cheat him out and delayes you since you need to be fast without the needed trainings options. There is a reason ppl in bt14 opted into the jamming egg, since it doesnt cost you anything. I can see the potential in machgao bt13, but if you need him to close out the game, something else went wrong
I'd say Mirage BM return BT4 Thomas after using his main to unsuspend then replay him to unsuspend the Burst mode again! it is better because u can keep ur play cost of 4 thomas while benefiting from him and u can easily play the BT4 thomas with 3 cost
I would suggest to suspend a thomas before digiburst only so you can use that effect before return it to your hand Also im not sure which is better, if a 4th bt11 mirageg or ice wall.. lvl 6 give you your win condition but ice wall gives you 1 turn to get there Great video, thanks
@@breadgehog I noticed that you need to attack when your MachGaogamon hasn't digivolved yet to take advantage of its inherited effect too, and again, jamming is underrated sometimes. Yes, I've seen the lists with Bukamon instead of Nicolai.
Was already sounding interesting as we went through the video, but upon learning that the main trainer of the deck is another thomas, i feel sorta obligated to give it a try
Kinda sad that Sunrise Buster beats out Final Shining Burst or the burst decks could play their signature moves, great profile, definitely gonna make this and Rosemon
Can you clarify the wording on the Burst Mode when it says "without looking"? To me, I take that to be only for the drawing of the cards; usually I have my opponent fan their hand out and I draw randomly. At that point, can I then reveal the cards I pulled out, giving me the information of what they no longer have? I assumed I could do that the first time I ran this deck at locals and no one minded, then I mirror matched someone who did the effect to me and kept those cards he pulled out face down. Do you know which is the correct way? Has there been a ruling on this?
Hello, there is a official rule for this where the MirageGaogamon Burst Mode player using the effect are supposed to randomly pick out the cards without looking at them. Only the player who owns the cards that are being bottom decked can look at them. Here is a link with more info: digimoncardgame.fandom.com/wiki/BT13-033/Rulings Hope this helps!
I actually took out the When Attacking Gaomon and replaced it with the tamer searcher Veemon. You can evolve on top of it with the gaogamon, play a thomas and gain a memory.
@@fmhappy7014 yup, it does, at least for me, gaogamon from bt11 could be cut down, Maybe 1 machgaogamon from ex-04, there are a Lot of alternatives really, You just have to test
I want to play this pretty bad, but I have to get over the PTSD and fear that came from adding cards to my opponents' hand in yugioh first 😂
That is entirely a true statement 🤣

japan dont use nicolai because bt14 there is an egg that gives you jamming
@@ventus93kh98You just answered yourself, no jaiming egg here, ergo, Nikolai needed.

1 turn usually means 1 or 2 cards max unless you have draw ppwer
Ice wall is something you might need to time right as well, and if your too on the back foot it wont matter
I use three copies of Nicolai, jamming is needed in this deck, especially if you play with the "when attacking" Gaomon and Gaogamon
For what it's worth, BT14 Bukamon has a solid chance of pushing him out, but Nicolai is definitely a solid addition depending on what parts you value.

@@AVAULT oh I see, darn that's too bad. Thanks for the info.
ulforce when '0'
how do u counter this??
this is what u get when you search the name of a archetype and put in the list every related card no matter how bad they are
Because they all are good

Do blue flare next

This is such a bad list
At least he didn't recommend putting DeathXmon into the deck 😜
No sourai in a Marcus heavy meta? My gosh :o
Do you think this deck has space to run both sourai and full moon meteor impact?
