    I plan to purchase the same bag for a similar purpose. I'd like to suggest a CAT tourniquet or two at a minimum. Odds are if you need even one AR mag, you will likely need a tourniquet.... if not for you, then for someone else.

      They are a great option and they are really affordable.
      I do have a tourniquet in each bag and carry one on me always. I have a separate bag also that has survival and medical supplies with chest seal, compression bandages and extra tourniquets. I'll cover that one in a separate video as it's from another company. But yes a lot or people focus on the weapon side of things and totally forget about basic medical supplies. I have a snakestaff systems EDC tourniquet that I carry in my back pocket every day. There is so much to cover in preparedness that we will likely have a series of videos covering a variety of areas. And I agree 2 tourniquets is better. Even 4 or 5 wouldn't be too many.

      Awesome. I'll check out the snakestaff EDC tourniquet. I don't carry one everywhere I go but would like to. @@PearceBrothersGearGuide

      @SSPshooter72 it's smaller than a standard tourniquet but has the same performance as a larger tourniquet. I highly recommend for an EDC option. It's comfortable on my back pocket. 👍🏻

    what do you think would be the better around choice between the covert vs the coffin?

    • @PearceBrothersGearGuide
      @PearceBrothersGearGuide  9 месяцев назад

      I like the Covert better. I prefer the 2 stap vs the sling 1 strap style.

    which mag, etc. pouches are you using in the covert bags?

    • @PearceBrothersGearGuide
      @PearceBrothersGearGuide  8 месяцев назад +1

      The ones in the outside pouch are balckhawk branded. The ones on the inside are Savior Equipment branded ones that have velcro to stick to the velcro liner.

    "Set up for CQB, with a 3x magnified optic."
    I hope that was a mis-speak .

    • @PearceBrothersGearGuide
      @PearceBrothersGearGuide  3 месяца назад +1

      I said "more" setup for CQB as compared to the DD which is setup for longer ranges with its LVPO. At that time the BCM did have a red dot mounted on the left vertically which was for the close range stuff. I did not say it was strictly CQB. The BCM now is equipped with a magnifier and eotech which is a better CQB setup and in my opinion the best option for a rifle unless it is a dedicated long range setup.

      @PearceBrothersGearGuide Thanks for the explanation. My fuck up. I stopped the video immediately after the sentence that I referred to, instead of watching further before I commented. Please forgive my idiocy.
      With your clarification, I 100% agree with you.

    • @PearceBrothersGearGuide
      @PearceBrothersGearGuide  3 месяца назад +1

      @scout3058 no worries, I wound up swapping the ACOG because I just wasn't a fan of the fixed magnification. I definitely prefer having the magnifier that can easily be flipped for the longer shots and left to the side for all closer needs. I'm also not a fan of having a red dot mounted on the side unless it's on a long range setup just so you have something for closer encounters.

      @@PearceBrothersGearGuide I have an Aimpoint COMP M3 with a 3x flip magnifier for the same reasons. Good call. 👍
